Just to tell you now major Harry Potter Spoilers coming up if you haven't read the HBP don't read this. P.S. this is going to be a long review.
I read this book about three days after it came out I try to take as long as I can to read it so that I don't read it to fast but it never seems to work. Anyway alot of people are saying this book was the best one ever and I have to disagree I think the parts where Harry's learning about Voldemorts past are kind of boring even though I know their important to the story line. The whole breaking up with Ginny think wasn't cool either if Hermione and Ron can be with Harry why not Ginny? And Dumbledore I cannot belive he died I was so mad that I didn't even cry (I cried when Sirius died) and I kind of suspected that Snape was the Half Blood Prince so that didn't come as much surprise to me. Horace Slughorn was a very concieted guy didn't like him any better than Umbridge they'd make a good couple.
I did however like the Tonk's Lupin set-up I think that worked out well Lupin deserves to have a chick after all he's been through. Draco was weird in this one he actually cried which I think was very troubling to read for me, somehow it got to me more than Dumbledore dying. Snape was the sly, devilish, evil, malicious, back-stabbing jerk like he is in all the books even though strangely I like him dunno why I must be a Slytherin lover or something don't hold it against me though. I think it's just because I like the colors green, and silver and the Bloody Baron it cool. Well that's all I have to say on the subject for now oh wait one more thing the romance in this book was totally pushed in like it wasn't in the original rough draft I didn't like the whole Ron and Lavender uh....snogging thing whatever kind of word that is.
It had to happen but it could have been eased in instead of pushed a book can be as long as the person who's writing it allows. Now I'm done if you made it this far I'm impressed that you would read my ramblings this long and I'm glad I caught your attention enough to read to the end you must really like Harry Potter like me anyway that's all I have to say on the matter. _________________

I really liked it of course, but sometimes I got a little bored with all the pensieve visits. I know they're necessary, but it was still a little dry at times. The last few chapters were absolutely spectacular tho. I cried for like, the last 4 without stopping lol. _________________ ...:::Life is a balance of holding on and letting go:::...

Brilliant. Best of the series, and sets it up brilliantly for Deathly Hallows... I am eagerly awaiting that...
But the way HBP was written was just incredible... _________________ It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.

I totally agree!
I can't believe dumbledore died! I got really upset on that bit. I think him splitting up with Ginny was totally dumbass of him! If she sticks with him as a mate that's going to put her in just as much danger as it would going out with him! Stupid Harry. . . and why does J.K.R make Hermione and Ron jealous for each-others affections in every book but never put them together. I mean come on, they can be an item, or they can't be an item. Choose one and stop muddling our poor brains!
I can't stand snape, if he was my teacher (and i went to a wizarding school and he treated me the way he treats harry) i would have killed the guy by now! I've always like Draco, don't know why, but even though he's stuck up his own back-side and kinda arrogant he doesn't do much more to Harry, than Harry wouldn't have done to Draco if he had the chance.
Can't wait till the next 1 though

I actually didn't like this book as much. I felt like it needed to have more real story in it. The parts about the horcruxes were interesting, but she didn't talk about life at Hogwarts basically at all. Except potions. Hardly any mentions of Defense Against the Dark Arts!!!! What's up with that??!!! She used to put a lot more about everyday life in there. I mean, I know she had to keep it short, but...
I didn't like all the romantic drama either. Hermione and Ron being petty and stupid. Grrr. And Harry and Ginny are together. I don't care what stupid things Harry tries to do to be "noble". Though I see the point. I just hope Voldemort doesn't kill her, but no breaking up. Ginny's loved him for EVER. Why do the guys always take so long to realize?!! Ron took forever to notice Hermione too!
I cried when Dumbledore died. That was a bit awkward seeing as I was at a sleepover at someone else's house. I just couldn't believe it! (I cried when Sirius died too). I like Snape, though I'd never want to meet him and I can't figure out why I like him. I feel bad for him too, the way everyone treated him when he was younger. :'(.
BTW: there's this site: dumbledoreisnotdead.com (Or something). Go see, it's amusing. _________________

I could have played Draco in the movie. You know, when I was 14. All I would have to do is dye my hair white blond and slick in back. I'd be awesome.
I dunno, with her tagline "is Snape friend or foe?" she's kinda setting herself up for predictability. If he's a good guy, everyone'll be like "PUSSY! And how unoriginal!" Unless he was actually the good guy and Dumbledore was the bad one, trying to kill Harry...OOH! DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING! God, she may as well jump down a well if that's how it all turns out...save the angry fans some trouble...and if he's evil, everyone'll be like, "well DUH! I ALREADY KNEW THAT! After he killed Dumbledore, it's OBVIOUS he's evil!" And if Snape were my teacher, seeing as I'm the kind of person that you can't get away with yelling at without getting a taste of your own medicine, I'd be expelled before my first hour of my first year was over. _________________
