WordPerfect

WordPerfect needs REMOVING from your system. it doesn't work Laughing It's as compatible with non-Dell PC's as a bucketful of custard, and it's as useful to work with ON Dell PC's as fingers made with salad. I couldn't get used to the interface, it would point-blank REFUSE to save things, and when I finally managed to sort out the floppy-drive I USB'd to my machine (I was sending some work to somebody and a memory stick is heavier to post Wink And more expensive.), it took SEVEN HOURS of pissing about before it decided to recognise it.

So I removed it, and, ashamedly, bought Microsoft Office instead. I actually prefer a Microsoft program over one that isn't... shoot me now.

In my defence, at least Word knows vaguely what it was designed to do. Okay, so sometimes it thinks it can be Acrobat and make things with... wait for it... pictures Shocked , but most of the time, it mostly works like it should. And it's actually compatible with notepad, wordpad, .rtf editors- it's the best program out there if you want a document you can send to nearly everyone.

like I said...I don't use it very often. But I use good ol' MS Paint for my pics *gouges eyes out because pics are so crappy* it's all I can afford, and I don't do much with pics anyway. Except once I had this assignment to make a movie on the computer, and I practically signed my 'F' warrant when I said "OMG. You can do that?"
