ok, these can be about pretty much anything, these are the stories in which you start it off, with bit of a background, then people create their own characters, and write as them...
OOC means out of character, IC means in character...
Itcan be anything, about a tv show you love, a book you have read, or a random idea that is totally original...
You cannot kill another person's character, or do anything major to them, unless they have given you permission to do so...
your characters can not be invincible, unless of course this causes some sort or internal despair or something, perfect characters do not make for good role playing... people have flaws, so must your characters...
I find that Rps sometimes help when you have writer's block, or simply when you are bored...
Give it a go, there uis really no wrong way to rp, and the only way you can improve is with practice! Laughing

You may have noticed that the RP forum is now smaller. Most were moved to the 'Dead RP' section, so if you're looking for a dear old topic that isn't among among the 'ghost' threads here, you could also check there; if it isn't in there either then sorry, it either went way, waaaaay too long without posts (I'm talking May last year, people) or it wasn't popular enough in the time it was up (for example, topics that haven't been posted in since March that never got past the first page).

Sorry if it's inconvenienced anyone, but I somehow doubt it would have... anyway, if you haven't read the first sticky, there is actually a new RP forum at http://figmentroleplay.proboards47.com/index.cgi? so go check it out. Sign up. Start posting. Whatever.
