Just remember, if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

Growing old is mandatory. Growing up? Definitely optional.

When you outsmart my brother, he'll just say "screw a lightbulb." which he thinks is the funniest thing in the universe...although it's mildly amusing, it's still just so wrong.

"'Thank you for trusting me, my lady. It is not easy to be a man like myself.'
'I should hope not,' Isgrimnur growled, 'Otherwise there'd be more of you.'"

hahaha! That's from To Green Angel Tower by Tad Williams. I can't think of any more at the moment, but I know a lot of good book quotes.

I have one.

People are like stained-glass windows. They glimmer and shine when the sun reflects on them, but when night falls their true beauty shows when a light shines from within.

I love that one.

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

You laugh because I'm different, I laugh because your all the same.

Be yourself for those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter. (I think that's it......)

When people don't laugh at my stories I don't take it as a "had to be there kind of thing" I take it as a "you have to be just retarted like us kind of thing." lol I love that one.

There is nothing like a dream to create the future. Utopia today, flesh and blood tomorrow. - Victor Hugo - Les Miserables

I LOVE Les Mis!!! Smile

My father was talking about his work the other day and trying to get some people to help him with his new project and he said something that I thought was really funny:

"Always appeal to people's basest insticts. As long as you can get someone to do the right thing for the wrong reasons, because you sure as hell won't get them to do the right thing for the right reasons."

Something like that. My Dad's not usually a cynic, but... Smile

If practice makes perfect but nobody's perfect, then why practice?
Not sure who invented that, but I first heard it frommy mate in England (though she now lives in France)

Always strive to be the best, but never claim to be the best

I love this one, it's so... rhymey. Despite the fact it's kinda nonsensical.

"Uram tuam sportulam."
or
"Tuam uram sportulam."
or
"Sportulam uram tuam."
or... well you get the picture. Anyway it's a little phrase I made up in Latin class that means, "I will burn your small gift basket."
Another good quote is: "Dum vita est, spes est." I'm not sure who said it, but it means "While life is, hope is."
