Ahh. Yes, I love how in certain places there are incredibly nice people. Like in Minnesota, where I live, we're all nice. We call it "Minnesota Nice" and some people don't believe in it, but those are the people who have never left minnesota, so they wouldn't know. Some states are incredibly mean. Like New York. Don't make eye-contact in new york. Just...trust me.

I can't say I've ever really noticed one place being different to another that much, in the terms of manners and stuff. I mean over here in England, the only way you can tell if you are in another part of the country is the weather, sometimes the food, and the accents.
I mean some places like London, Bristol, Machester are busier than others and all hustley and bustley whereas more quiet towns are scarcely populated. But I don't think I've ever been to a place where people seem really nice and another where it's really hostile.

Confused maybe I'm just oblivious to my surroundings. . .

First of Bush is kinda our fault. When we as americans have the right to vote and don't use it we get stuck with crap. Barly over 50% of all voters that could vote did. Second when you look at americans we see others say how stupid our government is. Well guess what others we know. but what the world has seen is that we as americans don't do much about it. Ever heard of the Untouchable Washington, cause that's what it is. The senate, and reps say they will do this and that to get into office then just sit and sip their drinks after they get elected. Third we as americans have the power to change if the government is doing stupid. Not only do we have the right to vote. But did you know that if 20 write a congressman about a certain issue the congressman has to act or can be brought up on neglect of his duties. Fourth. Americans do your part. Speak your mind find ways to have your opinion heard so we can make this a better place. We can for sure see that Washington is not doing it. SO someone has to. Try and shoot to be a politician, but be the first honest one. Well that is all i have to say. VOTE. speak your mind and don't let others stop you from being heard.

The, The world is in my hands.

People should vote, definately. But it's not just Americans that don't vote when they can.

Yes, but remember, if they're stupid enough not to vote, then they will vote stupidly.

I disagree, people don't vote because they feel there vote does not matter not because the as stupid. Really when you look at it one vote among billions of people can give people a reason not to vote cause they feel their vote does not matter. Got to i think soap box and read my thing on voting. If you wish to. You have good points but we still can try and do something.

I don't hate americans. I hate people (from any country) that are rude, and think that they are the best and everyone must worship them, and (*cough* George bush *cough) people who kill others just because. I think its because of him, and the fact that america is heard about all of the time that people hate americans. I've met quite a few americans, and you lot seem nice people.
You get Idiots everywhere,, including the uk, america and the whole rest of the world. I mention those two, cuz americas the topic, and im in the Uk.

Well...they may not be stupid but if they don't think their vote matters (which is stupid) then they do not posess any logic.

I actually was born in Downeastern Maine, (and lived there for the first ten years of my life) so I had this thick, impossible to understand accent (still do, s'matter of fact.) so when I moved to Vermont, everyone acted like I was a stupid hillbilly and couldn't do anything. Heck, they were probably right. But it was 'cause of my accent. What is it with America? I mean, people will worship rednecks as the funniest people in the universe, then when they actually meet one, they'll go "OMG YOU STUPID REDNECK! GO BACK TO GEORGIA WHERE YOU BELONG!" but thanks to McDonalds (I still love getting lunch there...chicken is the greatest food EVAH.) America has one of the highest rates of obesity. Also our youth spends all their time in front of the telly and then they're (who's overweight because they never did anything about it, not the people who cannot help it at all) always like, "*sob* I'm fat. Everyone makes fun of me." my bro was the same way.

And I agree, all those "mental people with a gun"...well, I have a shotgun, but not to hunt or just cause trouble, I haven't used it once, but I keep it to feel safe. You know, just in case some mental maniac decides to try and kidnap me or something equally creepy. But nobody would ever kidnap me, I'd annoy the crap out them so bad they'd be like "SHUT UP!" and put me back. xD

And I would just like to say, I did not vote for George Bush. SO YOU CAN'T BLAME HIM ON ME!

Well its not the fact of who you voted for its the matter that enough people don't vote. But aslo you have told me that people make fun of rednecks and are fat because of Mcdonalds. Well what i can say is that if we are but going to look at it. We should do something about it. So we can help my this place just awesome. Amercians make fun of others and the accept it. We put to much value in other people's opinion and don't build are own. It says that hey if i am fat leave me alone i don't mind. Its saying i am a redneck so bite me. If people only care accents and weight and don't care about the real person inside what good are they. People put to much value in features and not enough in who a person really is. So in other words be a nice person cause if we are life will be nice no matter how hard it is.
