Ok, so i thought that we should have an area where you can get to know your mods a little bit better, and learn about their experiences, so their modding applictations will be placed here...

If you want to be a mod, please go to nominations right down the bottom of the page, or pm me!

Reason that you want to become a mod: One: Because it makes me feel special, Two: Because I'm allowed on the computer anytime, anywhere, Three: I'll do what you ask within reason.

Reasons that you think you would make a good mod: Same as above. Very Happy

Past experience (Please list all forums and websites that you are/have been a part of, anywhere that you have had modding privelidges etc.): seriously if I gave you the whole list it would take days......but Candy (Dracomalfoyfan) can vouch for me.

What drives you (why do you write? Why do you do what you do?): Hmmm I like to write because it allows me to create my own world, my own place, it calms me, helps me vent, it's been a passion of mine since I realized a pencil on paper actually created words. Writing is something that means a lot to me without writing I would have no way to express my creativity into words and without that I would feel lost.

What are your hobbies: Reading, writing, drawing, singing, dancing, archery, shooting and chatting.

What styles and genres do you write: Novellas, Novels, Poems, Fan Fics and my genres are Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Fiction.

Reason that you want to become a mod: To help keep The Figments a happy and encouraging environment for people to write and create in, meaning that I'll discourage people from posting "You suck at writing!" and things like that, because that's obviously not good for the writer, even if they are fantastic, their work could falter because their self-esteem is low so they won't put emotion into it, and emotion is key when writing, as I'm sure you'll agree.

Reasons that you think you would make a good mod: I post a lot (lot lot lot) and I try to read as many things as I can and give feedback because I think that's the best way to keep people writing, to encourage them. I'm not judgemental, not at all.

Past experience (Please list all forums and websites that you are/have been a part of, anywhere that you have had modding privelidges etc.): I'm not going to lie: None. That probably just blew all my chances, but I just thought I'd try.

What drives you (why do you write? Why do you do what you do?): I've had so many experiences that I think most people will have to deal with at one point or another, but won't be able to express the feelings they have when the events happen. So, I feel my writing is a way to encourage people and help people through tough times. I also like to inform people of things (Example: Mayan end-of-the-world thing).

What are your hobbies: WRITING...sorry...reading, drawing, singing, swimming, photography, public speaking, I also work with autistic/ underprivelaged children and I enjoy that a lot, animals, I enjoy psychology and philosophy and study of religion (even though I'm not religious, I enjoy studying religion).

What styles and genres do you write: Poetry (when the mood strikes), short stories (mostly), occasionally I'll do a novella, I do fantasy, romance, basically what I'm in the mood for, but as hard as I try I just cannot do action...i'm working on it though.

PS: I suppose I'm not qualified enough, but I thought I'd at least try. It's better to try and fail than to not try and succeed! Laughing

What are your hobbies: Writing, reading, music, radio-controlled car racing! Computery things in general, camping on forums...

What styles and genres do you write: Everything. I write what either my pen or my fingers write/type. It's strange. I don't know how I manage to do it, but when I wake up, occasionally I find writing ON me. Shocked

Let's see... I became a mod before we had this spiffy form thing so I'm just making this up as I go along...

Reason that you want to become a mod: Why not...

Reasons that you think you would make a good mod:
* I'm dedicated. This is the second forum I've become permanently attached to. The other one I joined in 2003 and still go every day.
* I have experience.
* I can be unbiased.
* I'm really anal :P I can help with organization and stuff. I even alphabetize my bookshelves...
