See, you said that immortals (or those close) cannot be killed, but the attempt is often made by Death.

Yeah, so? That still doesn't mean that someone/thing has to try and kill him every other second!

No Geeds. I did that because I knew you were going to keep trying to kill Damien, so I tried to figure out a way to keep him alive.

I knew that you weren't going to give up, and besides, it would be stupid to have somebody killed and then brought back if it didn't mean anything - so I just tried to be creative.

This story can work. It's not that bad, but some things just don't make sense about it.

I like this story. I actually want it to work because I think it's a good idea.

So, basically, just a little seriousness would be good.

That way it would actually help our writing.

See, the twists and turns that Death brings to the story are good. They let us, as writers, figure out a creative way to escape death, therefore improving our writing skills. But the attacks should be logical.

Well actually my first attempt at Damien's life was because of something along these lines:
1) Hey, we could kill off Damien, so that some one would have to take up his quest (that's the way I try and kick off stories, kill someone).
Then with him coming back I was something like:
1) Huh, okay... didn't see that one.
2) So... now that that idea's gone... Aw, crap...
3) Well I never write anything humorous, let's try something new.
And then you taunt me with that post!
And if you're looking at me to post, keep on walking. I made the last story post, it's not my turn.

Fine then. You can still kill him, but lets cut down how often you do, okay? And besides, you ruined my idea when you killed Damien the first time. So there.

As Bayernet and Roy finished their ritual, something told the evil to go back. This was, of course, the force of the magic that was created by Roy and Bayernet.
Damien decided that he was just loopy from coming out of sleep so suddenly, laid his head back down on his pillow and went back to sleep. At that moment the butterfly landed on his windowsill.

Well destroying people's plans /is/ part of the game here.

Death watched the butterfly and reached his finger down towards it, to engulf it in his icy hand. Loki appeared behind him, "one more chance and you lose the bet."
Death stopped his approaching hand, "TRUE, BUT I AM NOT PLAYING AROUND ANY MORE. TIME FOR A REAL PLAN."
"So you were just messing with us then." Athena laughed.
Death smiled, "OF COURSE."

THANK YOU for not killing my butterfly.

For the second time, Damien was wakened by being shook by Roy. He could smell the wafts of eggs and bacon before he became fully conscious of his surroundings. He opened his eyes to find Roy's face almost touching his own.
"Bayernet made breakfast!" Roy exclaimed, obviously partial to Bayernet's cooking skills. "But it'll be cold soon, so hurry up," he added quickly.

I felt like torturing you. Very Happy

Damien happily scurried to the kitchen, urged on by the smells of eggs and greasy bacon. When he arrived there he found, to his disappointment, a salad on each plate.

Did anyone else see how I could have gone for, and THEN DAMIEN HAD TOO MUCH CHOLESTEROL AND HAD A HEART ATTACK!
