You guys are so weird. Food poisoning? Really, Geeds?

But as all the noodles slipped down Damien's throat, he just savored the delicious spices and al dente noodles. The battle that should have been going on in his body was not - for as the noodles neared the stomach, the toxins were absorbed by a very fortunate coincedence. The phoenix that attacked him earlier that day had sliced into his stomach and then quickly repaired it with its tears. The tears were still in a pearly film across his stomach, causing all the toxins to disappear.

I like food poisoning.

However, this had used the last of the phoenix's tears, now he would have to find a new saviour. Not that he realized all that was happening inside his body.

SERIOUSLY! Have you not read A series of Unfortunate Events?!?!? The Wasabi noodles kill it all! Why else would I have mentioned it?

And so even though the Pheonix's tears in Damien's stomach went to waste, the wasabi noodles continued to kill the fungus before it could suffocate Damien and take over his body.

Nah, I couldn't stand the series, it was too boring and uneventful.

After dinner the two men left Damien to rest. When he asked them where they were going, Roy responded, "We are going to preform the sacred rituals of the moon."
"So you're going to go dance naked under the full moon?" Damien laughed.
Bayernet turned, "Yes." There was no smile in that answer. He was completely serious.

XD oh, my GOD!

There was a look of shcok on Damien's face for a second before he composed himself. "You, er, have fun with that, then." And turned quickly to go back to his room.

But what is so special about the moon?

You should have seen it coming Shaye. I don't know why, but you should have.
As the moon rose, Damien drifted into sleep again, and the two men prepared for their ritual.

What the hell, Geeds? I'm never saying anything random or funny to you again.

Damien dreamt again of the beautiful woman, and he was just about to reach out to her when he began to shake all over again, and he found himself shoot up out of his sweat-soaked sheets and stare aimlessly at the wall across the room.
Damien felt terribly alone as he remembered the absence of Bayernet and Roy.[/i]

What? I was feeling particularly uncreative and since I couldn't think of anything, I took the random, funny remark that was recently made. Plus it's fun forcing people down strange paths.

Damien did not know how or why, but he felt a presence. The how is a long complicated answer involving the Interracial War of the Gods and quantum physics, but the why is quite simple, the dangerous ritual that Bayernet and Roy had been preforming was interrupted by a mysterious animal and the deadly forces they were trying to contain where released and now hovered near Damien, trying to decide whether to kill him or torture him first.

No Geeds. That's your obsession. I was merely trying to find a way to avoid it.
