What shows do you want to be cancelled?

What shows do you wish were never cancelled?

Anything about shows and cancellations.

I'll start. I wish Lipstick Jungle and Desperate Housewives would be cancelled because they're just dumb. 40 year old women don't sleep with their next door neighbor's husband.

I also with The Girls Next Door would be cancelled because Hugh Hephner is a freak and I hate him, and it's best that we just let the sluts be sluts with him privately, because everytime I see them I have a strong desire to throw something.

...I MEAN COME ON! HE'S LIKE EIGHTY! SICK! And he's a porno lord. Sick. How could you love something like that? I refuse to acknowledge him as human. Sicko freaky weirdo thing.

I wish that Super Sweet Sixteen would be cancelled, because those girls are spoiled brats and they don't... deserve praise for it. Seriously - One girl spent $35,000 on her party. On one party. My mom spent a grand total of $2,500 on her wedding. That included tickets from California for my great aunt Deb.

Okay that isn't a good example because my dad was amazing at finding deals, but still. WAY TOO MUCH.

Wishes to never be cancelled: Friends.

Anyone who knows me knows that that show is my favorite thing in the world and I love it to death.

Also: Firefly

I know Serenity was awesome and everything, but I just wish that the show could have been longer...

Also: Full House

I know that it's illogical to wish this wasn't cancelled because they all got old, but I wish you could like freeze them and they'd keep acting and keep... being... the same... age....

Damn you Mary Kate and Ashley for getting older.

Also: Futurama

I loved that show. Why didn't other people love that show? That was one of the great animated comedy shows. Right up there with Family Guy and The Simpsons (American Dad sucks, don't get me started on American Dad because American Dad sucks). It was a great show.

EVERY SINGLE REALITY SHOW
Seriously? I can practically HEAR my brain cells dying when I watch one of those. (does not include game shows/talk shows/news) Except America's Next Top Model ( Razz

) I'm a sucker for that show. Very Happy

Wish to never have been canceled:
GILMORE GIRLS
I know almost every line to most of those episodes. That show is just too good.

FIREFLY
Yeah, it's that good. The best Sci-Fi show I've EVER seen.

WELCOME TO THE CAPTAIN
This show had THREE half hour episodes. And they were HILARIOUS! It made me so mad to find out that they were canceled. Or, they were something, anyway. They don't normally show three episodes and then stop for two weeks, do they? But this show was so funny! It had a guy named Jesus who was the concierge, for Pete's sake!

That's all I can think of for now...

Wish to be canceled:

I'm doing pretty well in this department actually with Battlestar Galactica having its last season.

From there it would have to be all the stupid reality shows:

Tory and Dean: In Love: It really needs to go. (and those like it who follow celebrities around on a day to day basis)

Rock of Love 2: Bret Michaels is sick and he's like 50 years older than all the girls who are trying to get with him.

Desperate Housewives: Hands down it needs to go off the air ASAP.

Pretty much anything on the E channel.....

Wish had never been canceled:

The Dresden Files: This was a really good show! I'm a sucker for Sci-Fi series and this was definitely one of them. Which leads me to...

Firefly!: I started watching these after the show was canceled due to my dad's infatuation with the Sci-Fi channel. I found myself watching them without him cause I wanted to know what happened! Then it ended and I was like Oo! Luckily we got Serenity to tie it all up for us fans. Very Happy

Stargate SG-1: Alright, I know they had a long run. A good ten years on air but that doesn't mean I don't miss the SG-1 team. Especially Vala, she was my new favorite. (yes, my dad's infatuation with Sci-Fi wore off, sue me Razz

)

Hmmm....I can't think of any others at the moment. Maybe with time. Very Happy

I haven't seen Firefly yet, but I plan to right after I'm done with at least Skin of Evil from Star Trek: The Next Generation (Season 1), but if Serenity is anything to judge by, I'll be with you guys on the "I-wish-it-wasn't-canceled" mantra, which brings me to:
Shows I Wish Weren't Cancelled
Futurama: I know why people didn't like it, but come on people, it's not hard to watch the first episode and that's really all you need to understand what's going on.
The Thin Blue Line: Rowan Atkensin was amazing in that show, even better than Mr. Bean!
Black Adder: Which was even better than Thin Blue Line, plus it also had Hugh Laurie in it.
Jeeves and Wooster: Even better than Black Adder, albeit without Rowan.

Now I know a lot of you would expect to see Star Trek: The Next Generation here, but come on, although that show is no longer showing, they just keep coming out with a new show, plus I haven't even finished Season 1, I have plenty to go before I have to move on to another show, so I'm pretty much set with Star Trek right now.

Shows I Wish Were Cancelled
The Simpsons: Why? Because if the Simpsons were cancelled Futurama's return would be easier.

Really I don't care about anything else. For goodness sake I don't receive TV channels, what shows play do not affect me, only what shows do not play.
