Okay, so I'm changing a few things. I'm not going to pull a Shaye and leave you guys, but I'm thinking I'll be posting less. Or rather, I'm creating new rules for my posting, at least for a while:
1) I am always allowed to post new stories, poems, and other creative endeavours (RPs included, I can't give up the noir section).
2) I am always allowed to comment on stories, poems, and other creative endeavours by any author.
3) For each post related (and on topic) to above mentioned creative endeavours I am allowed to post in two other topics.
4) I am always allowed to post on welcoming, leaving, other life changes, and posts dealing with important events in the lives of me and others, but these do not count on my other posts.
5) If I have read and commented on every story posted this week, I am given unlimited posts until a new story is added.
6) These rules may be broken if deemed necessary.

Basically what it boils down to, is I joined this forum because it was about writing, but I haven't been doing my job and I feel guilty. With my life getting busier as I'm doing more and more in music, I'm reading less and less (this includes reading of all kinds), my non-musical creative spark is dying. I'm hoping that a combination of this pledge and my now monthly story in our school newspaper will help fix that. I'll miss the insanity, but hopefully that will push me to read and review so I can join in. I'll still be on the chat though. Any one else with similar feelings feel free to join me.

On the other side,
Alyxander Thomat

Alrighty GD, I'll hold you to 'em! Wink More critting and more writing would be very appreciated. And that goes for everyone. Let's pick up the pace a little, guys, you can do it!

Same here; but that's because I haven't been able to write in a while. It kinda happened around the beginning of summer...around when I finished HP, I'm wondering--now that I've got nothing to read, is that what's killing my creativity? So I'm finding a new series. Very Happy

I have to show you this picture GD cause it made me think of you for obvious reasons. :p

This is General Disarray on South Park. lol

I take it you're no longer going to write random things. Is that what your new rules meant?

Okay so this half-worked. 'Cause now that I'm no longer on my diet, I'm critqueing (and I know it's critiquing, I just prefer que (it's a Latin thing)) just as much (if not more) as I was while on the diet (which is more than pre-diet), so that part worked. But I still have a pretty nasty case of writer's block.

Writer's block should die. It's very unhelpful and stupid and frustrating and all that jazz. Sad Hopefully it'll go away soon.

Yeah... yeah! Who invented writer's block anyway?

That was stupid, God/Allah/Buddha/Science!

Why would you do that?

Quick! Fellow Mods, let us fly to the lab and find a cure!

(Ha. You guys have no idea what us mods do in our free time.)

(Sometimes we get mocha lattes.)

(Sometimes we save the world)

(I've said to much.)

(But it's okay. It's all in parenthesis.)

(It's your fault you're reading this, anyway.)

(Stop doing that.)

(Seriously.)

(You know what? I'm just going to stop typing.)
