ok, this is a really random book, Written By Jasper Fforde.
Its funny, and odd, and a little lame at times, but overall its a really good read, and a bit of a cack.
Well worth a look if you get the chance!
Its i guess a comedic adventure sort of story, with elements of physics, and theories that may or may not seem plausible.
Its the story of Thursday Next, an agent with the literary division of what is kind of like a big government inforcement agency called special opps.

Lost in a good book is the sequel to the Eyre Affair, It continues the story, with more craziness, coincidences, and lame names of characters...
We join Thursdayonce again, as she tries to save her husband, who is erased by the Goliath Corporation, with the help of some chronogaurds(time cops basically).

Ok, basically go and grab them if you can, have a read, they are well worth it...
My general sort of reading material is Sci-fi, Fantasy, Adventure. This is the first book like this i have really attempted to read, and i am glad i did!

I was fortunate enough to get them when they were on sale, for $10 each.

Ok, enough babbling...
They are a good read, and i really enjoyed them!
Check them out if you want... don't if you don't... Wink

I adore these books (and sequels: Well of Lost Plots and Something Rotten (yes, that is the actual title. It's tons of fun to be able to answer "Something rotten" when someone asks you what you're reading))

I haven't read the Nursery Crimes series by the same author (detective stories using nursery rhyme characters and setting), though I want to.

I should mention, since this thread has been undeaded (making up words is fun) that there is another one, First Among Sequels, which I have not yet read, but am sure it will be awesome.

It is awesomeness!

I am a little over a hundred pages in and loving it, and am so excited about the next book, too... Titled One of our Thursdays is Missing , set to come out in 09.

I am really enjoying this series, even more so than I was before... Second read through + just makes it better and better.

Very Happy
