I am very, VERY guilty of this.

The two most major instances:
"Old Flame" - Arcade Fire
It's the same old flavor cake...
"Keep the Car Running" - Arcade Fire
Same place Santa must go when they die!

There are so many Embarassed
So many in fact that I can only remember one at the moment.

In Meat Loaf's Seize the night:
Memories can lie to change the past.

Awesome in itself, but I prefer what it actually is:
Memories collide to change the past.

in the song "One Headlight" by the wallflowers there's a line that goes "me and cinderella" only my friend heard it and thought it was "the incinerator"

Just recently I've had one of these:

Hurt's "Ten Ton Brick"
Do my sin, do my sin, I'm to blame......yeah doesn't make sense because it's actually. Don't mind saying, don't mind saying, I'm to blame.

There's a whole lot more but they slip my mind at the moment.

That song; it's a country one, Boondocks or something...I /knew/ it didn't go like this; but it still sounded like it...I thought it went like:
I feel no shame; I'm proud of where I came from; I was born and raised in the produce aisle...

And I also thought the song Gone (Brookes and Dunn; maybe?) sounded sorta like:
gone like a frieght train, gone like yesterday, gone like a soldier in a silver wall...BANG BANG.
And I thought to myself; "well that makes sense; maybe there's so many bullets, (werewolf bullets, apparently...) it makes a big silver wall. ^^" Turns out it was "Civil war". :/

There used to be a car care commercial on the radio, it went like "we care for you...you and your car!" I thought it went:
home of the first...flying car!
Don't ask how I screwed that up. o_O

Queen, Bohemian Raphsody.
In the 'Let me go!' part, I always thought the reply was "Makes me laugh!", but it is actually "Bismallah!"

And in Any Other World by Mika I thought it was "'Cos it's all in the hands of a bitter pizza man"...
It actually is: "Cos it's all in the hands of a bitter, bitter man"

So I was close... Razz
