Yeah, I couldn't abort either.
I can see why SOME people would, given the circumstances but otherwise no. _________________ Spider, Spider, on the wall.

I feel pretty much the same as Shaye about this entire issue. I think that it should a be woman's choice whether or not she gets an abortion and not the government's. Regardless if it's illegal, there are women that will still have an abortion. Now either you can provide safe facilities to do the procedure, orrrr you can have a girl go to a dark alley and have some guy with a clothes hanger take care of it for her. Which sounds safer to you? Another issue is rape. It's not fair that some woman should have to father a sick freak's child just because she can't get an abortion. Maybe she doesn't want to see the face of her rapist everytime she looks at her child?
This is all coming from a guy's perspective, so forgive me if I seem kind of apathetic, but how I see it is that accidents happen. I'm still young. I dont' want to ruin my life and my girlfriend's life just because my rubber tore or her 99% effective pill didn't work. I'm sorry, but I couldn't ask her to give up college and a decent future, and I'm sure she wouldnt ask the same from me, if there was any other option. And I don't really see it as a living thing since it is only a zygote, like Shaye said; I don't feel guilty everytime i fire one off. I don't know any guy who does. But I do disagree with people having a reckless attitude about it, like,"don't worry about protection, i'll just abort it if i get pregnant." _________________

I doubt that many people have that attitude though. It's not like it's an every day thing.
And apparently 77% of anti-abortion leaders are men. Yeah. And how many of THEM could be in a situation where they want/need an abortion? None of them. Thankyouverymuch but this is MY body, not yours.
Though there are some men/boys that understand, I bet that those 77% don't understand.

I don't really know much about abortion, but I think that if they have to do it, they should do it as soon as possible. _________________ I hitt Mr. Larz

Let's see...
It turns out that abortion laws were not passed in favor of the whore's that get pregnant every other weekend. It was actually passed in favor of the Catholic girls that were dying because of it. See; the good little Catholic girls get raped or something; right? They obviously can't go tell their parents, because they'll tell her she's unclean, basically a slut and she's going to hell. And she doesn't want that. So instead; back when abortions were illegal, they would get them done in the back room of a tattoo parlor or something, illegally, and more often than not get sick and die while the whore's were all out having the time of their lives. So I dunno; it still promotes...uh..."ho-ism", but it does save a lot more people.
Not that I've ever been one to harbor romantic ideas about the value of human life. *shrug* _________________

Shaye has decided that she's not going to discuss abortion with people anymore - because nobody ever listens. When they believe something's right - they bury themselves in a hole of selfish, arrogant right-ness and never come out.
So. Abortion isn't right, we all know that. Nobody's going to go out and say, "Oh, I think I'll go get knocked up then have an abortion tomorrow, because I haven't really done anything good this week."
No.
Abortion isn't right, but it can't be illegal. I will stand by that my whole life. If we do that, then people will do it illegally, then all the people saying "Abortionists are murders" will be murderers, too, because almost 90% of illegal abortions end in death.
Again - my whole life. _________________ ~Shaye

I'm not saying you're wrong, Shaye. I don't ever flat out tell people they're wrong. (Unless they're saying something like nuclear wars are the only way to solve things...THEN they're wrong.) But I do like to argue my point. ^^ _________________

Nah I wasn't talking about you.
