*Hope*

Hope drifted in and out of consciousness, not really sure what was real and what she was imagining. Night time was pulling in, it wasn't easy to see in the forest and the easiest of times, but now, with the sun setting and darkness creeping trough the trees the eerie shadows danced over the people and plants making them undistinguishable and frightening.
The bumpy journey churned Hope's stomache, as she struggled for breath as her capter jolted from side to side making her stomache press against his shoulder, and winding her constantly.

"You can stop here." One of the voice instructed, Hope couldn't tell if the voice was female or male, all she could tell was the distinct, harsh tones and cold, heartless attitude.
Her capter lurched forward, dropping Hope and presumabley Shade onto the ground, though Hope wasn't sure. A seering pain slithered through her shoulder, when the wound from the bird attack was still fresh and sore. She let out a startled gasp of shock as she hit the floor, but didn't have the energy, or awareness to scream like she wanted to.

Shade became awear of a fresh wave of pain as he was thrown to the ground. His long black hair felt sticky on his face, and he could taste blood in his mouth. He heard Hope gasp as she was thrown down beside him. Lying on his side as he was, he could tell that he was facing towards her. With a great effort, he opened his eyes slightly. The dim light was almost blinding, but he could see Hope lying next to him. His hand twitched towards her, before darkness closed around him once more.

"If what Sarkyn ((Mind reader)) HAs told us is right, the girl is a healer, and the boy is some kind of pyrokinetic. By the sounds of it they both have limited control, the girl moreso than the boy. Put her up on the table first. Get her patched up, then test out what she can do on the boy." A man, probably the leader commanded the rest.

TAKKIOSO (tack-ee-oh-so)

Takkioso grabbed the girl from the floor and walked into the quarters that they called the 'lab', and lay the girl on the table, not roughly but not gentley either.
He quickly moved her arms and legs so she was laying on her back, facing upwards. Her eyelids fluttered and he caught a flash of unusual, bright green eyes.
"Sh-Shade . .?" The girl muttered, shaking her head slowly and putting her hand into the air, searching for something.
"No, sshhh child." Takkioso commanded, pushing the girls hand down back to her side and using two of his fingers to close her eyelids carefully.
"I suggest we do something quickly now, whilst they are both drowsy and co-operative." He said smoothly, turning to Samamra.

She nodded slowly in agreement, barely paying attention. The fact that she had little power in this small, enclosed room annoyed her, and she looked away inattentively. Living for the thrill of chasing down innocent shadow sorcerers had it's benefits, but being once they were caught she had little interest in what happened to them.
She stared at the girl in mild disgust and attempted to leave the room.
"Samamra, it would probably be a good idea if you stayed." Takkioso's voice followed her, and a look of obvious irritance(?) crossed her face.
Turning around in one step, she gave a predators smile and moved to stand next to him. I'll get away soon enough... she thought silently. Or... she glanced at the motionless girl. Maybe it would be more interesting to stay this time.

Ylaso, the other healer type in tthe room stepped forwards at the Leaders gesture.
"Do not heal her fully. Just give her the energy to heal herself, and keep on giving her energy until she has healed both her and the boy. I want to test out her ability" The leader stated firmly. "Samara, close the door, but keep an eye on the boy through the window. Tell us if he moves or trys anything."
