What fanfiction is so painfully brilliant and it inspires you to think/write/abandon canon? What could you recommend to anyone from any fandom? And what do you just plain enjoy?
The Sacrifices Arc - I really don't think I can read a Harry Potter book anymore. This is seriously the single most brilliant thing I've ever read, published or unpublished. It really makes you reconsider the line between good and evil. Be warned, the books are at least twice as long as the Harry Potter books and much more dense.
The Sorcerer of Rouen - A light read. Something I could recommend to people unfamiliar with the fandom, because it has very little to do with the original story. Genre: I'd probably call it historical crime. Despite the title, it has no aspects of fantasy at all.

I've heard of a Harry Potter thing on Fanfiction... But I can't find it...

Lol, The whole Harry+Draco, any boy-boy fanfiction is called Yaoi. Girl-Girl is called Yuri. I LOVE YAOI! *fangirl squeal* Hey....I write fanfiction! My profile is in a blog on my MySpace, which is on a link in my sig! But anyways....I've read some pretty damn good Kingdom Hearts Fanfiction, especially this one called Bereave. If you can find it, I highly reccomend it. (Of course it's yaoi...SoraxRiku  )

I'm still against dude-dude, so I haven't read it...although a friend of mine said he wrote one...something about a whore destroying the world with her boobs or something. He's a strange little man, honestly. And I don't know what it's supposed to be based on either.
