I am not.

I'm merely saying that people don't usually change. Maybe I'm just bad at changing them, I don't know. But they don't listen to me. Every morning on the bus Heidi starts yelling at me about how Emos are the essence of non-conformism and I try to tell her that the fact that you even have a label is conforming. Does she listen? No. Of course not. Why? Because she is unchangable. Things you say to her go in one ear and out the other. I do have faith in people, but I also know that it would be something absolutely remarkable if the world wasn't constantly fighting about what's wrong and what's right. How do we know what's right and what's wrong? Some people say the bible is the answer to that. Some people say that it comes from within us. Others say that it comes from the world we live in and the popular believe. I personally, don't know. I have given up on politics because I'm sick of arguing. I'm sick of trying to get points across to people who refuse to listen to me.

I love that movie.

I don't believe I'll be able to explain this to you correctly. So erm.

I do believe that. That's kinda' what I'm trying to say, but what I mean is that I hate trying to convince people that they... I've given up on politics because I don't like fighting with people about whether abortion is bad or whether something is right or wrong. I just want to live and not worry about what other people think, but it's so hard to do that when everyone around you is just wanting to pick a fight. What I mean is that I can't convince people that we should probably try to think the best of people, which is what I mean when I talk about people fighting over whether gays are perverts or whether Muslims are all terrorists. What I want is for people to... to stop fighting. So... I guess I'm starting with me.

I've given up on politics because I've given up on fighting and hating other people.

If that makes sense at all.

Don't worry, I have similar views, I just voice mine loudly and get into fights. In a lovely kind of way. And I loved the little I got to see of Love Actually, and even since then I've been trying to find that movie.

I hate fighting though, because it makes you angry. Like doug, when he gets carried away about things, he gets so angry that he has anxiety attacks.
