I go up to my cabin every year and I have friends there that are around my age:

Carmen and Jenna (sisters)

Emily, Kimmy and Katie (sisters)

Well, every day around 5 o'clock the boys from town (population of 40) come to our cabin and we build a fire on the beach.

The guys are all flirty and stuff because Carmen and Jenna and Emily and Kimmy and Katie (and maybe me... I dunno) are quite attractive. The thing is, Emily, Kimmy, and Katie are from England and they go to an american school which is so unlike schools here it's not even funny and they just love guys (with the exclusion of Kimmy, she thinks that the guys up at our cabin are gross and need to get a life, for which I admire her and understand her). Katie's burned out, she's the oldest. So, Emily is my big problem.

I didn't know, but when I was up there and I was talking to Kimmy, she acted really cold and mean whenever Emily's name was mentioned. I was like "Okay. Sisters. I get it." but one day I asked Kimmy why she was so mad at Emily and she paused and said, "I thought you knew." and I shook my head. She sighed and said "Well, I was going out with a kid named Joe and I really liked him. I went to the Homecoming game and was supposed to meet him there and he and Emily were making out." And then she got that cold look on her face and stared out the window.

I said, "She did that?" because I knew Emily was like that, but I didn't know she was so like that.

And then Kimmy says, "Well, that's not all. I left the homecoming game and told Katie and Katie was sympathetic and went and talked to Emily. Emily started yelling at Katie and Katie left her room. About fifteen minutes later Emily came in and told me 'Just because your boyfriend thinks I'm prettier than you - and I can't blame him for thinking that - doesn't mean you have to be angry at me.' and then she slammed the door. I haven't talked to her much, since."

I was so taken aback about that I didn't know what to say, so I just hugged Kimmy and we went and made marshmallows (Very Happy).

But to think that Emily would do something like that was horrible. I know she actually did it because I heard Carmen and Emily talking about it behind the Twinky (that's a trailer) and Emily said, "well it's not like he ever liked her. Joe was always interested in me, and anyway, Kimmy's not that pretty."

I think Kimmy is ten times prettier inside and out than Emily will ever be.

That IS terrible!

I mean there is this "unwritten law" between friends and sisters... You shouldn't even go out with your friend or sister's ex unless they are really understanding and all of that... I mean it depends on the friendship... But the point is, you shouldn't even go out with your friend's of sister's ex unless they expressly say it is ok... Let along STEALING a guy from your sister!!!

Although, i must say, that Joe was just as much to blame... But i know it hurts more coming from your sister...

That's the terrible truth about this country's young. A lot of them are like that. It's sad. And that's why I like nerds.

What I hate, is when a girl goes out with a guy, and that guy makes out with another girl, and the actual girlfriend stays with the oby, and picks a fight with the girl.

It's like; OPEN YOUR EYES, GOD DAMMIT!

But sisters should know better, my brother Dan's a bit of an idiot like that. Because we're the same age we're obviously in the same year at school, and (not bragging) but my brother is quite popular *sigh*. And so he's mates with almsot all the boys, so if I ever get the simplest crush on any of the lads my brother makes it living hell.

That's why I'm into older guys Laughing lol!

But hey, I do it back to him. But what Emily did was plain out of order to Kimmy.

*whacks Emily*

The worst part however, is Emily having no remorse. "It's not my fault your boyfriend thinks I'm prettier!" or something, what a bitch. </rant>

I can't imagine my sister preventing me/teasing me about any dates. I'm too much of a geek for her to do that. Very Happy

Figgy - Yes. Unwritten law. But Emily would do it anyway. She's like an Angelina Jolie that way.

GD - Hey. Geeks are awesome.

Yeah, Joe's a *beep* but so is Emily, so I guess Emily's right. They're the perfect match.

Kimmy is going to get the best guy in the world and I'm going to be sitting there while she talks about how wonderful he is and I'll be so jealous of her, but at the same time I'll know she deserves him.

Indeed we are awesome. Unfortunately most are a tad unapproachable.

You DO have time!

Anyway. My mom never dated in high school. And she became a radio announcer and every guy in Minnesota had a crush on her. One guy wrote her every week and asked her to marry him. My mom was dating my dad at the time, and dad looked at the letters and he knew the guy who was writing them! Ha! So he wrote back to the guy, and then the guy wrote my mom's boss and said that she was the worst radio announcer ever. Ha! And then my dad was a story all by himself. He was kinda a famous party guy at the U, so everyone from his generation pretty much knew him or had heard of him.

My mom went to a cafe once and there were four women at the next table and they were talking loudly and they said, "You know who's back in town? Tim (last name)!" and they all giggled. When my mom told this to my dad, he blushed and changed the subject. erm...

And when they got married, they did that famously, too. They got married at a famous train station that my mom had always loved, and they made the star tribune on like the third page and it said, "A couple railroads into marriage" (quite cheesily). Most people didn't believe my dad would even get married.

Ha... ha ha ha.

Yes. You have time. [/ramble]

Heeeee, I love cheesiness. I'm the guy who jokes around with such famous lines as, "I'm a fermata, hold me," and "Are you tired? 'Cause you've been running through my mind all day... screaming." Very Happy I hang with girls a lot, I'm surprised I can get away with stuff like that.
