Okay. I have to admit, when my friend Emily gave it to me to read and said that it was about vampires, I kinda' thought "err...I don't want to read it" but I never pass up a book without reading the first chapter.

498 glorious pages were read by me in two days. (Would have been hours, but I have school)

It was WONDERFUL! I loved this book!

Now, for the point... Who has read this (glorious) book?

ZOMG I'M READING THEM ALL!

I wish I could fall in love with a vampire.

Nah, just somebody exactly like Edward. Except maybe not as angry.

^HAHAHA!!! Me too. I feel bad for him. But Bella and Edward belong together.

I LOVE THESE BOOKS!!!!!!!! And that's wierd coming from Miss-I-Only-Read-Fantasy-and-Sci-Fi. (And mystery). I really don't like romances or books at all like this as a rule, but Twilight was just... AMAZING. Enough said. Wink

I recently read this book too, I haven't gotten around to New Moon, namely cause our library doesn't have it, and I'm reading a bunch of other stuff for school. Ugh. However I'm working on getting it. It's extremely strange I like this book, everything points away from it. I'm a guy, I don't really read romance, I've never been in a relationship, I don't really eat chicken... wait... where'd that one come from? Anyway, despite these things I really enjoyed the book.

But you love all of the historical romances I've been passing you (Pink Carnation...)

I keep trying to tell Shaye that these books are so much better than Harry Potter (well, maybe just a little bit better), but she doesn't see it. I think these books are amazing, and suggest them to every girl I know. By the way, GD, Stephenie Meyer is working on Twilight in Edward's point of view.

Not to mention that TWILIGHT the movie will start rolling in Feb. '08, and that Edward will be played by Robert Pattinson (a.k.a. Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter 4 & 5) and Bella will be played by Kristen Stewart (who has been acting for 6 years (she's 17) and has been amazing in everything I've seen her in).

Wee hee!

GAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry. I came back to say that they are still amazing, the movie has started rolling (with a cast of quite a few recognizeable actors), and that Shaye needs to do some re-reading.
Because, last time I heard, she was still unconvinced of the love between Edward and Bella, and had given up. Re-reading helps! I caught a lot of stuff that I don't think I caught before, and if it weren't for the fact that I could bear to do anything that would slow me down, I would have highlighted them all. Very Happy These books are, indeed, too amazing for their own good.

Oh! Something else!

This is Stephenie Meyer's website. It's got tons of stuff on not only the Twilight series, but her other book The Host as well. It's got TONS of extras and outtakes for Twilight and New Moon, though none yet for Eclipse. She's too busy, and I'm perfectly fine with that! Anyway, thought some of you might like it, if you haven't done the digging, yet. I know I check constantly for updates Very Happy

I reread Twilight lately, to find that I didn't like it nearly as much the second time around. Interesting...
