Ok, i though i might just lay out some rules, let you run wild, and see what catastrophies occur! Laughing

Basically i think we'll go 10, 000 - 60, 000 words... just to give you guys plenty of room... Please try and keep it within that... And this way if your stories are too long for Snoogums of doom's comp, you can submit them for this one. If you need to give any information so that we can understand the story better, please give us a summary in 1500 words or less.

The closing date will be the 6th of October aswell, to avoid confusion, and then anyone who wants to do the NaNoWriMo this year can have a bit of a break before it, and we can get back to you with the judges decision with plenty of time to spare.

I'm not going to say it has to be a new story... It can be one that you've been planning, or writing even if you so choose...

I DO ask that you please keep it original, aka, no fan-fics... I'm not going to stop you from having a general idea that may resemble a well known story.
For example, you can, if you must, have it taking place in a wizarding school or the like, but please, i ask you, do not have DUmbledore, or Voldemort, or anything of the sort. Hav your own characters, who have their own trials, not Harry's...

Come on people, be original!

Please try and make sure your stories are the best they can be before submitting them; if they do not flow, and the judges have a hard time trying to understand and read them, it is unlikely you will place, over someone who has a smooth style, and a good plot.

Therefore if you wish to ask my advice about it at all or editing before you submit it, then email me any queries or stories at aussiefigment05@yahoo.com.au

When submitting the story, please send it to figment_admin@hotmail.com (that's figment_admin)... You can submit it in full, or chapter by chapter if you so wish...please specify which competition it is for, and your username in the subject heading.

Oh, and what could be more rewarding than a place of honour on the board, and the thrill of the competition?!?!
And after the judges have made their choices, we will most likely hold a people's choice award...

Ok, looking foward to reading them, and judging you all!!! Mwuhahaha... ok, i wont be harsh, so don't worry...

Get those creative juices flowing people!!!

Catch ya.
Figment.
