Yeah that title is pretty much the most comprehensible thing I can come up with right now. *bangs head on trouble* "Nobody move, I dropped my brain!" Yep, that's pretty much how I'm feeling at the moment.
I hate not being able to think about anything. My brain just does not want to function and it's really bumming me out Just thought I'd mention it. _________________

I love your siggy.
And I know how you're feeling. I remember this medicine I took for a while made me feel like nothing was worth doing. Usually, I sing, write, draw, read, whatever comes to mind, but the medicine made me feel dead. And when I thought I had the beginning of a thought, it would float away. Sure, I could do math homework and bookwork, but I wasn't feeling for any of it. It was terrible, terrible stuff.
It was Prednazone, it was a steroid I was prescribed when I had a sternum infection.
But advice now!
Meditate. No. Seriously, just go outside and meditate, and everything gets clearer. The fact that your brain isn't jumbled is a good thing when you're meditating. So you should go do that.
But that's all the advice I have for now. _________________ ~Shaye

Mae got me into meditation; she said my mind wasn't disciplined enough. I said that I'd much rather prefer an airport mind over a military boot camp mind. She flicked me. -_- _________________

Teach me how. Seriously meditation sounds awesome and useful, but I can't do it. Maybe I just don't try hard enough. (I think that's on-topic) _________________ Remember, a velociraptor can run at 10 m/s (indoors) and it knows no fear. |

umm, I read an article on meditation once. It said to notice (not concentrate) on your breathing (if it's slow, fast, deep, shallow, etc). But DON'T count your breaths. You'll never be able to meditate if you do that. And if you ever get a thought in your head, just kind of ignore it. Don't be all like "NO! YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED HERE! THIS IS ME TIME!" cuz that's bad. angry always = bad. But that's all I remember from it... _________________ ~Michelle The Bee

Meditation is actually what you want it to be.
When we hear 'Meditation' we think about Buddha and Gandhi and things, but it's really just us. Meditation is just like sleeping but you're awake. I meditate laying down, because it's easier for me to clear my head that way. Being outside is easier for me too. There aren't any rules to meditation, but the only real 'rule'-like thing is that you have to be relaxed and in touch with yourself. Meditation is not the thing you use to organize all your thoughts, it's a place to let your thoughts go, and then they just fall into place.
Meditation is just letting yourself go. _________________ ~Shaye

I also read that you had to have your back straight. I tried to meditate lying down once...
I fell asleep
Remember that article I gave you on meditation, shaye?

oh, I heard about those catholic Buddhists... My dad was all like "wha??" because it makes no sense. But then my sister was all like "if you're Buddhist you can have any god you want to, so it's all good!" And I was just like: *snort*
And I think if my priest saw me with that book, he wouldn't let me get confirmed
But whatever. So, YES! do, do! _________________ ~Michelle The Bee

Nah it's called Going Home: Living Buddha, Living Christ and it just explains how he lives with two religions. _________________ ~Shaye
