Since it's my B-day tomorrow mother dear took me to see Disturbia today since we'll be gone all day tomorrow and it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! One of the best movies I've seen yet this year it was funny yet suspenseful, towards the end I was at the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen. Shia Labeouf and uhm what's his name Tritter from House guy were awesome for their parts they fit perfectly, so to sum it up I absolutely loved this movie I was locked on through the whole thing.

I'm afraid I must respectfully disagree with you on this one I'd been looking forward to seeing this movie for several months (since I missed it while in the cinemas) and watched it early in the morning a couple of nights ago when a friend slept over. I was quite disappointed. She and I both just thought it quite a B-Grade movie. Granted, this may have been due to the fact that the dialogue was hard to hear (since everyone else was in bed and the volume was done), but I simply didn't get any 'thrill' from this thriller. Perhaps just not my cup of tea. Could also be that I simply put expectations on it. Ah well, each to their own. _________________

The critics didn't like it either, I was really worried it was going to be horrible when I went and seen it but I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely one you need to pay attention to. Me and my cousin watched it together in a dark room, quiet house all alone and it was EVEN better. Even though I already knew what was going to happen. As you said though we all have our own opinons, that's what makes us different. _________________

I personally think that the new wave of horror movies (i.e., this generation) doesn't compare to the horror movies of old. They didn't rely on buckets of blood to scare the living Sh*t out of you. I'm talking about Dead of Night, Halloween, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.../those/ are good movies. ^^ _________________

This movie wasn't gory at all, Hawky, there was hardly any blood in it at all. Except the one scene where that was a splatter of it on the window. I guess I liked it because it was a horror yet it wasn't overly violent, dirty or graphic in any way and now and days that's all horror movies are. _________________
