Hey guys and girls,

I just finished reading "Flowers for Algernon" written by Daniel Keyes and it was absolutely phenomenal. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates personal stories. It was just so heart felt and deep.

I also just finished "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'brien. Another wonderful book. O'brien is a extravigant writer, with so much talent and so many stories to tell. It is about his experience in the Vietnam War.

I read "In Cold Blood" written by Truman Capote. It was a real page turner. Capote was so messed up, but had extraordinary words. Read it if you are interested in spooky stories. It was great.

And of course, my favorite book of all time "TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD"!!!!! written by Miss Harper Lee.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with To kill a mockingbird, I found it an incredibly hard book to read, and in fact it is one of a very small list of books that I never finished, the plot was boring and slow, and to be honest, I hated it...

yeah, I wasn't a big fan of To Kill A Mockingbird either. Maybe we beat it to death in school, but I don't think I liked it that much before we wore it out anyway lol. I just remember dreading my reading homework lol. I think the only books we read in school that I actually liked were A Separate Peace, the Accidental Tourist, and 1984. Catcher in the Rye was ok, but Holden drove me nuts, and Animal Farm was good but too predictable.

Yeah, I think TKAM was amazing, and thats just MY opinion.

1984 was good...and I liked Catcher in the Rye too....
