That's right. Not the Inheritance Trilogy. A fourth book has been announced (*groan), thus it is now a cycle.

| As you may or may not know, Random House Announced that Book III will be released on September 23, 2008. In addition to this exciting news, they also announced a Book IV and renaming of the Trilogy to a Cycle. |
Any thoughts on this announcement? _________________ It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.

Explain to me the difference between a trilogy and a cycle.

Trilogy = 3 books
Cycle = not 3 books, I assume they don't want to commit to calling it a quartet yet... _________________ It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.

Trilogies are nice. You can only write so much before people get bored of you. Besides, three is a nice, even *coughevilcough* number. I'll do my three rant elsewhere, but...ayah. _________________

I read that book 3 was supposed to come out this fall... but it didn't, and I became extremely dissapointed. But I don't mind so much for a fourth book. I hate trilogies named trilogies before the third book comes out. It makes you ever so dissapointed when you read the last one. _________________ ~Michelle The Bee

Brisingr??? Well that was unexpected... I was under the impression it would be Empire. And isn't it meant to be a green book... it's "affectionate" nickname at anti-shur'tugal is The Green Brick after all... and you don't name a green book something that means fire now do you?
Wierd...
Edit: he changed that too! The book is black! And it looks absolutely hideous. Well... they say never judge a book by its cover... but I think we can honestly say that you can with this one. _________________ It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.

It's actually better for your health to be positive. Or maybe...WAIT WAIT no it was mathematically, it's healthier for you to believe in a higher power or God. For instance, if there is a God, and you do believe in Him, then you'll go to heaven and whatnot. If you do believe, and there isn't one, then you still haven't lost anything.
But a black book? I've never actually seen a black book. :/ I really don't know why. _________________

Well, it's black with a painting of a gold dragon on a yellow background. So you are all correct. _________________
