Woo! Congratulations to you!

(Keith Urban is the guy who is married to Nicole Kidman isn't he? I think he is right? If so, then I can see why you like Keith Urban Wink )

I would probably recognise him, and go - Oh!!! He's that guy from that film....

I do that alot. And everyone stares at me.

Oh. That explains why he's in the MUSIC section.
That did confuse me.

Ok, so, it's now 2:15am and I'm kind of half asleep lol but I want to get down as much of this as possible before I go to sleep and forget it all lol.

So tonight I went to the Keith Urban show in Toronto, and of course, it was amazing. I got to go backstage before the show and meet him. The first part was kind of fast. We were all in a line, and then boom there he was and they sent us over in groups, snap 2 pics, shake hands, and be on your way to the next room lol. So anyways, after the pics were taken for my group, the women in front of me stopped to say something to him on their way out, and I stopped to give him the portrait I drew, and I had it in a snowman bag with snowflake tissue paper lol and he said "oh a Christmas present, thank you baby" and hugged me and then he started singing 'Let it Snow'. It was so awesome. OMG and he smells SO GOOD. I know that seems like a really random thing to notice/say, but if you ever meet him, you'll understand lol. People have said it to me before and I always thought it was weird that they'd notice that, but it's very very true lol.

So anyways, after almost dying when he hugged me, I went into the next room (shaking of course lol) and we watched a video on the making of the tour. It was so funny. Him and the band are hilarious. I loved it. One of my favourite lines was when he was holding the finalized set list and he was like "so this is the final list until... it gets changed... at the second show". It was so funny. Then after we saw the video he came into the room with us (which was very small btw with really nice candles for lighting and a little stage) and he sang "But For The Grace Of God" and it was SOOOOO amazing. Like, when you're out at your seats in the concert, there's so much noise and sound distortion but when he's singing acoustically like 2 feet from you, WOW. He sounds identical to the CDs. It just like, solidified him as the best singer in the world to me lol. Being a vocalist myself, I can't STAND when people don't sound like their CDs, cuz you know it's studio manufactured sound, but he was phenomenal. And then we had a little Q&A but I didn't get to ask anything unfortunately. The other side of the room kept hogging him lol.

Yeah so we got out just before the end of Gary Allan's set, but my mom is a loser and didn't hear her phone (like always) so she didn't come back to get me until his whole set was over and I couldn't find my seat and there were no door people to help me, so I missed him entirely which I was kind of upset about, but whatever. I also discovered that ticketmaster f-ed up my ticket and instead of my perfect floor ticket right on the catwalk, they gave me the same seat in section 108 in the mail, which is not the ticket I bought online, but whatever, it was too late to do anything about it, so I traded my mom for the slightly further back floor ticket that wasn't next to the catwalk Sad.

My seat was still pretty good though. I couldn't take my good camera because the ACC supposedly doesn't allow detachable lenses and stuff so ppl cant take professional quality pics and sell them, so I had to take the crappy digital, and man does it suck balls lol. I only got one good picture, and gave up trying after a couple songs lol. I took some vids with it, but somehow the camera makes him look further away than he was lol so idk wtf is up with that piece of junk. But yeah, he's hot, and really amazing lol. And when he came back for the encore, he was like "the last time I was here it was amazing too, but I have to say, you guys are officially off the hook. it's like new years in here!". We seriously were super loud though lol. It was the loudest show I've been to crowd-wise, and I saw Cher's farewell tour 4 times lol. And one of the songs he did in the encore was "Got It Right This Time" and he dedicated it to Nicole (even though he said she couldn't make it), and I was screaming and people looked at me funny lol but whatevs. He also did Better Life, and another one but I've forgotten now lol. And he put on a Toronto Maple Leafs Santa hat, and it was awesome lol. And I managed to get 1 piece of heart confetti in every colour, so I was pleased with myself lol. And my mom got me a t-shirt and a picture, and I got a keychain from the BSE. Unfortunately by the time I got out of the BSE they were sold out of programs.

Then came the mad dash for the Go Train lol but that's a rather uninteresting story, and it's now approaching 3am lol so I'm going to leave it at that. I'm sure there's a million things I've forgotten that I'll remember as soon as I shut the laptop lol but I think that's pretty good for now.
