For some reason lately I'm listening to songs without words. Namely the nature stuff and the Vitamin String Quartet. It's really good for writing and concentrating.

I felt like that yesterday!!! I was skipping everything on my ipod that had words. I have the soundtrack to the movie Waking Ned Devine and it's REALLY good music. Mostly Celtic stuff.

And not just writing. It helps with lots of other creative stuff too!

I listen to quite a few songs without words, but that's just when I'm dancing, because it makes sense to listen to dance music . . .

But otherwise, I need words in a song . .

I like some of these too. Especially classical.
Pachelbel's Canon is one of the greatest pieces of music there is.
And Bond. Try listening to the band Bond, they play modern versions of classical music. All very good, especially Lullaby (which is the remake of Canon Very Happy)

I love Paul Schwartz's music. He mixes classical with ambient/new age. He has some awesome compositions, some with words, some without. In any case, it's all really good music!
