Gathering of the Figments

Ok, so I'm walking home from town, with my boyfriend Mitchell, but we see this thing in the sky. And it's kind've like a bird, but it doesn't have wings, so we stop and stare at it. And we realise it's a cat, but it's upside down so it looks almost as if, it's running on the sky.

But in the dream I find this normal, but Mitch is really freaked out. I calm him down and we carry on walking, but there's a tree, and it too is upside down. What would normally be the highest branch is supporting the whole tree from the ground and it's roots seem to be anchored in the air. So the apples on the tree are really easy to reach.

Again, I find this completely normal and go to climb the upside down tree but Mitch is begging for me to come down, when I refuse Mitchell runs off but as I see him run he slowly flips upside down so he is running in the air.

That's when I begin to realise it's not a joke, and that I can't go up to the sky like everything else, or I'm stuck forever. So I try my hardest to stay on the ground and I'm holding onto the branches at the bottom.
Then three girls walk past, one is my best friend grace, but the other two I don't know. And they all laugh at me because I'm clinging to the tree. But soon they stop laughing as they too, are drawn into the sky, and they begin weeping.

Finally our neighbour Sally, floats over me and begins to read me a story, and I don't remember what she was saying but it was really funny so I laughed, and she wouldn't stop so I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. My ribs began to hurt so I held onto them whilst laughing and let go of the tree, so I soared up to the sky . . .

Maybe it's a sign.

I don't know what strange, twisted, demented kind of sign it would be, though.

Or maybe it is something about change... saying that you don't want to accept it because you know that you will not be able to go back to what you had before?

Maybe it is telling you to accept change or something?

Yeah, that's not demented and twisted. I was thinking it meant she was going to become an astronaut someday and be sucked into the sun and burn up.

If that's the case, then it's kinda like;

I notice small things are changing, and gradually the things that are changing become more rapid, Mitchell thinks I should stop fooling around but because I won;t change he leaves me *whimper*. Grace and the two girls think that it's silly that I can't change and laugh as if I'm pathetic, then they change. Then my next door neighbour Sally, says something which totally changes my mind and makes me change.
