I always liked crayons and pencils better than markers. Whenever I drew my little nonesense doodles and such, (when I was three, I was SEMI-NORMAL.) I always used a pencil or pen. It drove me nuts when I used markers, 'cause they'd always leak through onto the book I was using for a clipboard. I ruined my 'Alice in Wonderland' book like that.

I also never crawled, and hid under the table so I could eat four Pringles stacked on top of them. Mae hated it when I did that, because it made so many crumbs. So I hid the crumbs inside 'Alice in Wonderland'.

I also wondered about popcorn. I mean, HELLO?! Where do they come from? You put them in as kernels, then they come out as POPCORN.

I've always wondered how refrigerators work.

My science teacher says it's like forced change of pressure or something.

But I don't think he understood my question. I asked "How does a refrigerator work?" hoping that he'd explain it to me. Not just give me a generic answer.

He's my favorite teacher, even though he and I disagree on a few things.

Refridgerators work by using convection currents. Cold air sinks, hot air rises. The air-cooling-device is situated at the top of the fridge, the cooler air sinks to the bottom, cooling the food. The air heats up a wee bit, the warmer air rises, gets cooled by the cooling-device and the process begins all over again.

Question officially answered Very Happy

I figured it was something along the lines of ice in the walls making it uber cold. BTW, lesson of the day (along with the rhyme of the day...): don't get trapped in a fridge. Ever.

I drew on myself with those erasable markers, then "washed it off" with the "make it go away" marker (I had no idea that it didn't ACTUALLY make it go away) and then the "magic disappearing" ink started to wear, and Mae was like, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" and I was like, "that lying magician ripped me off!"

Mae wasn't pleased and made me take a bath for an hour until it all came off.

DO NOT KILL RABBITS! EVERYTIME YOU KILL A RABBIT, A RABBIT DIES!

It's true.

This is related, I swear.

When I was in second grade or so, a boy in my class wrote a story about a magic pencil. The boy who found this magic pencil drew a picture of his sister but didn't like it, so he erased it, but his real sister got erased. Some other things happened and then I can't remember how it ended. ... Maybe he drew her again or something...

Sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind erasing my sister. OR FRICKIN' MADELINE...

Isn't that, like, a proper story? I swear my brother has it...

*goes off to find it*

*returns holding book above head triumphantly*

LOOK!!! And at the end.... Oh no... it's about a magic RUBBER.

He gets a magic pencil at the and, and buries them both...
