|
|
Have you ever seen those Erasable Markers that have two ends? One where you write and the other where you scribble over it and it sort of erases it and makes it kinda wet and then the caps have a sort of soft spongy thing on the ends? Well this is my theory on how those work...
First, let's say you are drawing a circle, and you accidentally draw a line out of place. So, you take the other end of your marker and scrub all over that line, turning it all white and soggy. Then you take a cap and rub it over the stain. Ta-da! That line is gone. How does it work? Here's how I think it does...
The actual marker ink has a chemical in it that allows it to be easily liquified to the point of runniness when touched by a certain other chemical, and the "eraser" marker is made up of that chemical. So when the pen is liquified, the cap end works as a sort of sponge to soak up and eliminate the mark, thus "erasing" it. _________________ If the world and everything on the world was made of glass, what would we use for shower curtains? |

Actually I never quite figured out how those worked, but I do know how those "magic no stain markers" things work, the ones that only write on the special paper?
The paper has a special chemical on it that reacts with the chemicals in the marker. Each marker has a different type in it, so the paper reacts differently with each one and makes a different color for each one. You can draw on the floor all you want, but even though you're not making any VISIBLE mess, you're still pouring non-toxic chemicals into the rug. Imagine...pouring hydrogen peroxide into the rug. Wait, that might make it foam and get clean and stuff...
This reminds me of a very important lesson. Never make a band-aid out of duct tape. Ever. When you take it off, it'll hurt like Sh*t. Honestly. _________________

Ooh. Knowledge.
Someone told me knowledge is power...but then I ran them over while they were doing math problems.
Hm. Guess El Camino's are a bit stronger than knowledge.
xD You'll never believe what I just did...the phone rang (I got a cell phone. Neat!) and I pick it up and go "meep. Dammit, I mean, hello?"
It wasn't even for me, it was a wrong number. PAHAHA! _________________

I don't get embarrassed. Which is why I didn't care much.
I think I'm gonna sell my cell phone on eBay. Just to see what it's like. And I don't need a phone as much as I thought I did. _________________

Haha! meep though? why? ... heeheehee.
I used to have one of those erasable highlighters. It made me angry because it just made the paper wet and you could still see where there used to be a highlight. So I killed it.
