Wow was this a good movie or what? It is the best Potter movie I have seen and totally does the book justice. And it was so creepy I loved it though I thought the end was so sad. They portrayed Cedric differently in the movie then in the book so you actually grow attached to the guy and they he dies sooooo sad. Moody was awesome his character matched perfectly. Voldemort looked just like I pictured him that was a bonus. Anywayz the only thing that I thought was wrong with it was Dumbledore was a bit too violent and they didn't even tell that Rita Skeeta was an animungus!
Majorly important part left out but other than that one of the best movies I've seen in a loooong time. _________________

Yah I know! They changed the second task with the gillyweed though. In the book Dobby gives it to him. But overall a very good movie 9 out of 10! _________________ If the world and everything on the world was made of glass, what would we use for shower curtains? |

omg I loved this movie! I think it might be my favourite of them all so far. I saw it on IMAX too and it was amazing. _________________ ...:::Life is a balance of holding on and letting go:::...

For me, whilst it was the best, it is still a disapointment to the books. _________________ It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.

| I'm always a bit of a stickler with books turned movies. I thought it was good but I just thought Moody’s appearance was all wrong especially the eye, actually I thought almost all the new characters looked wrong. Apart from looking old, Fleur wasn’t nearly pretty enough; Cedric just didn’t do it for me and Krum isn’t supposed to be attractive and even if you don’t think he’s attractive he’s still not right. The scene in the penseive was really bad especially with Barty Crouch Jr. he’s supposed to be scared not proud! It was the best movie and my favourite book, but it was one of the worst for doing justice to the books. I know they can’t do it exactly like the books but it still annoys. Harry Potter is one of my favourite series and I guess that’s what happens when you like something one way and then they change it, but still very good. I know I sound like the hugest stickler but I can't help it. |

ya I didn't like the eye, it wasn't how I imagined it. It looked really fake and weird. No offence to the girl who played her, but I also thought Fleur wasn't pretty enough, and they didn't make any reference to the fact that she's part veela. _________________ ...:::Life is a balance of holding on and letting go:::...

They probably couldn't make a reference to the fact that she was part veela because she wasn't pretty enough |

Got this on DVD. A very good film, though a lot was cut out.
I hope they don't do that with OoTp, but alas, they will... _________________ A new day is here, Why do I not see,

| You know they're going to cut stuff out but then when you go and see the movie you're still shocked. It's really hard when you have 3 directors in 4 films. OMG the firebolt in the 4th movie, what the hell was going on there?! |

They did really well for the time-frame. I do enjoy the books more, but the movies are really good. Not to mention they make some people want to read the books more than they did before they saw the movies...Yay for JK! _________________ ~Shaye

That movie could have been longer and kept more in it, but I guess they don't think the younger crowd can sit for that long. Oh well, still one of the best out of the four that are out now. _________________ --Sameth--

It was good, but OMG Moody looked like Davian Owen from mi:III. The eye wasn't supposed to be supported by anything. But his voice was perfect, it totally suited Moody. He was supposed to be a little stick with a weathered and beaten face and a mane of stringy black hair. He wasn't scrawny enough, he was blond and he looked totally normal save for the eye that was about two inches in diameter and bright blue. I didn't like him much. And what was up with Krum? He was supposed to be this slouched over, heavy set guy with these thick black eyebrows, not Justin Timberlake. They do look alike, right? I dunno, I think that's who I'm talking about. (die Pete!) and Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were schools full of clones... _________________

LOL Krum does resemble Justin Timberlake if Justin was bulkier! I never thought about Moody looking like Davian but now that you mention it I can see the resemblance there too! You've given me much to ponder and re-watch now! _________________
