So, my friend Ashlynn introduced me to this book, and believe me, it is well worth your time. Ignoring series, this is my FAVORITE book. It's got dragons, magic, evil uncles, illegitimate heirs, all that good stuff. So go read it!!! _________________ I hitt Mr. Larz

Just be warned, it's a bit confusing right at the first. Don't be discouraged by it. Oh, and just about everything else by Robin McKinley is absolutely wonderful. Especially Spindle's End and Beauty. They are both retellings of traditional fairy tales, but have some unexpected twists. Don't underestimate them just because they're retellings, K? _________________ I hitt Mr. Larz

I LOOOOVE Robin McKinley!!!!! This book was really good. I also read the Blue Sword, Beauty, and Deerskin. Deerskin was fantastic. Really. You should read it. _________________

You know actually I do?
ANYWAY! The hero and the crown...sounds kinda predictable, if you know what I mean. _________________

I love it (and Talat! Best fictional horse EVAR)
But I think I like the Blue Sword better... _________________ Altogether Too Unsophisticated To Deserve a Proper Postscript

Topaz and Kiki are cool too. And loads of other horses I could mention. But yes, Talat kicks butt. I just borrowed Rose Daughter from the library. Anyone read that? Is it good? _________________

Haven't read Rose Daughter in forever. Recall not liking it as much as Beauty. Ought to read it again. Am not using subjects in my sentences. _________________ Altogether Too Unsophisticated To Deserve a Proper Postscript

I remember liking Beauty quite a lot. But *sigh* my mom seems to have lost it.
Talat rocks my world! But not quite as much as Luthe does. HEE!!! _________________ I hitt Mr. Larz
