Syrus prays. He keeps talking to Flame, hoping his words will rouse her from her seemingly endless sleep. "Flame...Flame wake up! Please, I didn't mean to drag you into this! Flame!"

I open my eyes and soon regret it. The moonlight that shines down on me is blinding. I cringe at the thought of the sun rising. Syrus smiles. "Thank god you're alive. I thought you were gone." I sit up slowly. "Syrus...what was Raidus talking about?" Syrus takes a deep breath. "Well...a long time ago, when the other raiders attacked a village, I was in charge of punishing a runaway soldier who rethought his decision to join us...and that means death. Right now they're probably deciding on a bounty for my head...anyways...I was supposed to kill him, and let me tell you, it's hard work bringing even one of those monsters down. That wolf had an eagle spirit inside of him, and it was corrupted. His soul was falling apart, it needed another body, another soul to merge with. So, while he was rotting from the inside out, his power had doubled, maybe tripled. I finally managed to bring him down, but the soul escaped and Raidus caught it. Literally. I came back to the group and Raidus was holding the soul in his hands. I could tell it was hard for even him to control it. The other wolves had captured a girl...you...and were going to curse you with a wolf soul that would kill you, but Raidus had a "better" idea, and..."
I cut in.
"And he put the corrupted soul in my body?"
Syrus nods.
I'm shaking with rage and fear. A corrupted eagle-wolf-thing soul inside me? "What the hell...then why can I only transform into a wolf? What happened to the eagle?" Syrus explains. "That's exactly why they're hunting you. They want you dead before your soul figures out it's being shared with another. If that happens...it could take over and then the power would be so immense it could destroy everything. Or it could become too much for anyone, and just kind of...explode, I guess. I don't know. I'm just thankful you're alive." I look Syrus in the eyes. "Take it out. I don't want it, take it out! I don't care what you have to do." Syrus smiles, a sad smile. "I'm sorry Flame, I can't...I would kill you. And once I got it out, then what? It would only continue to wreak havoc. I'm sorry... I'm sorry for a lot of things, lately, aren't I?" We laugh, and I try to forget what's going on inside me...but something like that is hard to forget. "Well..." I say. "I guess we should try looking for Aislin, huh?" We set out to find her.

Kiara could not lift the tree she coulnt even budge it the poison was spreading slowly and painfuly threw her body so it was hard to breathe and the giant tree on top of her wasnt making it better and were the branch was jabbed inside her, the wound was trying to close over the branch spreading her skin painfuly!

OOC: I couldnt post cause i was cleaning my room all weekend, but it is all clean now!!!

IC: It was night and she saw the whole thing. Aislin was in her human state again and was sitting behind some bushes as she listened to the wolf raiders search for her, her breathing was ragged. She saw Flame only when she awoke and left the camp with Syrus, but she was caught moments after the get away, her arm had been bitten by a wolf and in her struggle to get it off, shreaded its teeth along her arm and it now bleeds mercilessly. Aislin could hear the wolves investigating the dirt for her sent or a clue to were she was at but found none so long as she kept quiet and still. She used her illutionist powers to hid her and all evidence she had been there, but the illution took its toll.

Aislin had lost her sweatshirt to a snarling wolf and her arm still bled. She cluched her mangled arm and winced as she could no longer hold the illution, and prepared to pay the price. Investigating the soil, the dogs found her whereabouts and she sprung from the shrubbery, forcing herself to forget about her disfigured arm, and sprinted away from the camp. Aislin was exausted but she had to get away or they would for sure kill her. Her legs ached and her lungs cryed for air, but she still ran. Soon, she came to the conclution that she wasnt going to get away, even if she was at full strength. Aislin stopped dead in her tracks and fell to her knees, her arm pulsed with pain. The wolves were right behind her and could attack in less than a second but it seemed longer. The one second was all she needed to gather the rest of her strength and create one last illution. The wolves prepared to pounce on there meal but frose and began to sceam with pain. The noise was horid but Aislin continued the illution. Her mind was so clouded she couldnt tell what she was sending them but she didnt care, she just had to live. Live so she could meet her parents, just once. Live so she could know who her family was. The wolves howls died and they all fell hard onto the earth. She wasnt sure if they were dead or not but she didnt have long to find out because at that moment, she began spiriling into darkness, and all she could hear were the faint wispers of the forest and all she could think about was if her friends were ok.

We walk along the forest path until we hear screams coming from wolves far in the distance. Syrus looks over at me as I limp along. "Can you run?" I shrug. "I don't know, but I guess we'll find out now, won't we?" We both take off straying away from the path and crashing through the trees. Finally coming to where a shadowed figure lay, we look around for wolves before coming to the person's aid. I gasp in shock and lose my footing, crashing into Syrus and knocking him down as I realize it is Aislin on the ground. Syrus and I tumble head over heels down a slope, crashing into branches along the way. I hit the ground first, my breath leaving me as I hit the dirt hard. Syrus lands on top of me before I can regain my composure, and for a moment our eyes lock in harmony. Then Syrus crawls off of me and checks Aislin's pulse. "Good. She's still alive, just out cold. Are you okay?" I nod. "C'mon, let's get her somewhere safe. Look, there's a cave over there!" I point to a cave a couple of feet away. We hurry inside and start a fire, all the while looking out for soldiers or bounty hunters, and watching to see if Aislin will come to.

Kiara finaly is able to break the branch that is in her side and she kicks the tree of her! She lays there exousted laying on the ground with the branch still in her side! Kiara still lays there having verry little movement as her vision becomes blurry and sxhe cant smell anything. Her breathing is heavy until another squirrel come up beside her and made weird noises!Kiara let out one breath and fell unconcious as the squirrel jumps on her!

Aislin opened her eyes to see darkness. She could hear her comrades sleeping soundly next to her and the rain, pounding softly on the earths surface. Takeing a deep breath, she was welcomed by an awful, unidentifiable oder from the cave in witch she lay. She attempted to sit up but a strikeing pain in her back forced her to lie down again. Remembering all the previous events, she tryed to figure out why she could hold such a long enough illution to make the wolves yield their attack. They were emiting such a teribble howl, it should have broken her concentration and alowed the beasts to destroy her. Never the less, Aislin was alive and as well as you can get while engulfed in pain. She tried to prop herself up onto her elbows but failed for she completely abandon the fact that her arm had been siverly wounded, and came crashing down onto something hard. Getting over the shock of the cold ground, she reached around her head for the hard object and found it to be her katana, placed just above her head. Now wizened about her handycap, she carefully pushed herself up with her right arm and saw that Flame had been watching her struggle.
"Are you ok, I mean, do you need help or anything?" Flame could see Aislin was in pain.
Looking away, she said chillingly, "Im fine."
Aislin could see Flame wanted to say more but she stopped herself as she saw a shadowy figure emurging from behind a tree and it was on its knees, crawlying and gripping each tree as it passed, then it colapsed hard onto the ground.
Without hesitation, the girls rose from their resting places and went to see to the intruder. The intruder was a long boy, no younger that Aislin, with long drenched redish brown hair, his eyes were shut tight. He carryed a bag that wrapped around his neck then under his arm. The duo dragged him into the cave for further inspection, all the while, Syrus slept.
Inside the dripping cave, Aislin waisted no time and started opening some of the pockes on the bag and pulling things out while Flame stared in confusion.
"What do you think your doing? You cant just start going through this guys stuff!" Flame check his pulse to see if he was even alive, "He's still there and that makes it all the more bothersome."
"We cant just sit here and not know who this boy is, for all we know, he could be working with a not so nice person and when he wakes up,
ka-POW! Off with out heads!"
Flame considered the statement and folowed Aislin in her actions. They both pulled out parchment after parchment and Aislin soon reilised that she saw him before, in her medow were she would meditate.
"These," Aislin exclamed, "are letters, normal letters, he's a messenger."
"What is he doing out here?" Flame thought hard for a moment, "Maybe he was to send a letter to someone and got lost?"
"Or," Aislin said suspitiously, "maybe he was attacked. None the less he isnt carrying a real weapon, other that this little knife. So far, he hasnt put us in any danger..." The thought caught Aislin off gard, 'What if he was being followed, he may not have ment to but this guy could have led some wolves or something here."
Flame grew worried when Aislin spoke of her thoughts, "We cant just leave him, he's injered! But you, if they do come, arn't in any condition to fight." Flame drew in a large breath, "What will we do?"
Aislin tapped her fingers calmly, "There's nothing we can do at the moment, all we can do is take turns keeping watch while eveyone else sleeps till morning, then we can figure things out then. I'll watch out for anything suspitous and you can sleep."
Flame agreed then paused, "Gee, Syrus sure can sleep through alot, can't he?" They both laughed, but then Syrus sturred and went back to sleep. The girls were redused to giggles before Flame went to sleep and Aislin watched as the trees swayed back and forth in turn.

OOC: I actualy erased this whole thing 3 times befoe actualy haveing the brains to save it to a note pad!! Laughing

I wake up and rub my eyes. Then I glance over at the others. That's when I saw that the boy was awake, huddled over in a corner coughing. I walk over to him and put my arm around him. I'm not surprised when he shrugs it off. "look." I sigh. "I'm not going to ask you anything personal. Just one question. Was anyone following you?" He shrugs his shoulders and replies in a raspy voice. "I don't know." He look down at my chest. I've failed to notice my wound reopen 4 times that night. "What happened to you?" I shake my head. "I'll tell you later...if you're the right person to tell." I go over and lay on my back. I don't feel so good all of a sudden. But I lay there in silence until the boy falls back asleep until I manage enough strength to turn over on to my side. By now I'm sweating bullets, and the pain in my chest has doubled. I feel like I'm going to throw up, but manage to keep my dinner down. Sitting up, I gaze at the hole in my chest. Amazingly, the katana didn't pierce any vital organs, though it did manage to clip my lung. Just barely, though. It still bleeds heavily, and soon my shirt is soaked through with blood. I wince as I flip over onto my other side. Trying to sleep, I am unsuccesful. Sometime later, Syrus wakes up and walks around the cave to loosen his muscles. He looks over everyone to make sure nothing happened during the night, and pauses when he looks at me. Kneeling down, he nudges my arm. "Flame...Flame, are you alright? You're sweating, and... oh god, not again." I sit up weakly and lift my hand, to see it red with blood. Syrus sighs. "I'll handle it. You're too weak to move." I shook my head. "No, a couple hours ago, I was well enough to go ask the boy if anyone was following him...he said no. Then I felt really sick again..." Syrus digs in his knapsack for some bandages, finally producing some. "We can't stay here for long. We need to get you to a doctor. I don't like the looks of this." I flip over onto my back as he carefully places the bandages over my wound. "There...I hope these ones don't fall apart or get soaked again...are you feeling okay? You look worse than usual." I reply to this by vomiting all over his shirt. He grimaces. "I'll take that as a "no"." I lift my head, concern in my eyes. "Oops...sorry." He shakes his head. "Don't worry about it." He takes off his shirt and is about to get a new one when he lays back down on the cave floor. "You know...it's too hot to wear a shirt in here...don't you think?" He looks at me. I look at him in disgust. He looks puzzled, then realization crosses his face. "Oh...you thought...oh, no no no no no! I didn't mean....god, did you really think...well, no! I wouldn't...uhh...." He grunts in frustration and drops his head down to the floor, thumping it hard. "Ow! Grrr, stupid floor..." He drifts off to sleep while I laugh as much as possible without injuring myself. Sometimes you can say the funniest things without opening your mouth...

Sun beams creaped into the cave and Aislin pulled the thin blanket covering her over her head. After failing to block the rays from her eyes, Aislin forced herself to throw the blanket off and she stood to stretch.
"You should be careful." came the concerned voice of Syrus, sitting at the mouth of the cave, with out a shirt.
"Uh, Syrus were's your shirt?" Aislin asked, confused.
"Er, I forgot I took it off!" He quickly snaches a fresh shirt from his bag and slips it on, obvously enbarassed. She giggled slightly before seeing the strange boy sitting in the corner, eyeing both Syrus and Aislin. She saw his one hazel, right eye and a frosted left. He coughed.
"He was awake during the night," Syrus whispered, "He had been coughing before he fell asleep again."
Aislin noded and walked slowly to the stranger then sitting with a persons space between them.
"How are you? Heard you had a bit of a coughing fit." Aislin sighed.
"Hm, I'll live." The young male looked away, "Whats your story?" He gestured to her arm.
"Wolf raiders." She rubbed her bruised arm. Then she saw his concern, "Oh, it's nothing to worry 'bout!" Aislin smiled cheerfully.
The boy seemed to relax a little more and he started to speak.
"My name is-" He hesitated,"My name is Dalibor, Dalek for short."
"Aislin." She said breifly extending her arm, Dalek shook it.

I wake up and feel slightly better than I did the night before. Looking down I notice that the bleeding has slowed down considerably. Standing up cautiously, I make my way over to where Syrus is sleeping. Aislin is standing watch. "Syrus...wake up. It's morning." He stirs. "Huh? Wuzzat?" "get up! We're leaving to treat our injuries." "Oh....right." He yawns and gets up, walking over to Aislin. "You ready to go?" She shrugs. "I am...but I dunno if Dalek is." Syrus grins. "What do you care? He's just a stranger who stumbled in on us. You shouldn't care what he thinks...unless you have feelings for him, that is..." Aislin's face gets red. "I never said I liked him! I was just wondering about his opinion!" I cut in. "By the way... where is this Dalek person?" Aislin points to the back of the cave. "Over there. I think he's scared to talk to anyone..." I walk over to him and sit down. He draws back, and I can smell the fear in him. Smiling inside, I transform into a wolf before his very eyes and snarl in his face. He screams and runs farther into the cave, gesturing for Syrus and Aislin to come closer. They do, and when passing me give me a puzzled look. Dalek yells at them. "Run! I'll...I'll distract it or something!" Aislin asks. "Huh?" What are you talking about?" Dalek gives her a No-Duh kind of look. "Hello?! The monster right in front of you? She's a traitor! She's exactly like the monsters that were following me when-" I jump in front of him, growling. "So, there were wolves following you here, you little liar! Syrus, Aislin, let's kill him before he gives away our location to his cohorts!" Aislin laughs. I turn and stare at her. "What's your problem?" She keeps laughing. "Flame...he's confused! He doesn't understand what's going on! I bet with all that panic, he just now remembered what was chasing him when your transformation sparked his memory!" I stand dumbstruck. "Damn... sorry, Dalek...jumped to conclusions..." I continue muttering until a sharp pain that makes me catch my breath reminds me that I'm still injured. "Right...let's all go to the nearest town and see if we can find a doctor." Syrus shakes his head. "No good now Flame...I can hear the wolves barking in the distance...we've got a fight on our hands now...Dalek! Can you fight at all?" Dalek bows his head. "Well, sir...uhh, back where I come from I was pretty good with a staff, and-Ah!" He yelps in surprise as Syrus throws a stick at him. "Good. There's your staff. Get ready everyone." Everyone draws their weapon as the barking and howling gets ever closer to the cave.

OOC: ShadowFang's at my house and shes being retarded!

IC: Flame lit her dagers, Syrus gripped his sword, Aislin weighed her katana, and Dalek clutched his stick. The wolves aproched them all slowly before stopping. One wolf leaped towrd the four but was stopped by a flameing dagger to the heart. Flame reached for another dagger that she then lit on fire. Sudenly, all 16 of the wolves sprung torward the group of four who quickly reacted. A wolf ran right infront of Aislin but it seemed to want to get around her, but she impailed it before it could. She looked around at her comrades but all the wolves seemed to want around them all, that is, all exceped Dalek, who was bombarded with wolf after wolf, and every chance he got looked up at us as if asking for help. Aislin sliced a wolf, it fell to the earth and she then realised that Dalek is hiding something and that she then regreted not asking more about Dalek. None the less the wolves were trying to kill him and Aislin could not let them have that satisfaction.
"Somethings up, I knew he was afileated with those damn wolves." Flame grinded her teeth, "We should let him be."
Aislin shot a cold stare at her, "If hes in cahoots with them, why are they trying to rip him apart?"
The question stopped Flame and the three of them started hacking away at the wolves. Soon, all four of them were covered in blood and panting. Aislin leaned against a nearby tree and Syrus sat promply on the ground. Flame remained standing, glareing at Dalek, who is also sitting.
He threw his arms back behind him and sighed, "Ah, that was a tough fight, thanks for helping me-"
"What were they after you for."Aislin and Flame said together
"Huh, oh, erm..." He fish for an answer. Syrus stared, not wanting to enter the conversation.
"Dont you think its strange," Flame turned her gaze to Syrus, "That all the wolves went around us and went strait for Dalek?"
"Uh, well," He didn't want to say the wrong thing so he noded his head.
"See? What were you hiding?" Flame scared Dalek, he was gripping the stick as if Flame about to attack and He was going to block inperfetionaly.
"I didn't, I mean I did, but I didn't think-"
Now tired of his babling. Aislin stood and walked past Dalek, who cringed, and sat next to the boys messenger bag. She ripped it open and started re-shuffleing through the bag, now furious that he wasn't giving a strait answer.
"Hey, what do you think...your..." Daleks voice trailed off as he saw Flame crouched next to him, her dagger to his throut. He was silenced.
"Flame, is that really necicary?" Syrus stood next to her.
"It wouldn't be if we were all killed in our sleep because of him."
Aislin still searched through Daleks bag but found nothing.
"Ready to talk?" Aislin turned to Dalek.
"Uh, I wanted to say sothing but I was afraid that Flame would take my head off." He eyed Flame.
Aislin hadn't notaced Flame was holding Dalek hostage. "She won't." Aislin gestered for Flame to drop her weapon, she did, but if he made she would be ready to kill him, which made him nervous.
"I wanted to tell you that this isn't my falt, A man gave me a package then he told me to keep it safe and to not let anyone see it, so I didn't put it in bag."
Then were is this package?" Syrus spoke up.
"I put it in my pocket." He glanced down to his back pocket, " But aparently the wolves took a likeing to it and wanted it, I still have it. I dont have a clue whats in it."
"Where were you to deliver this package?" Flame put the dagger away and Dalek relaxed his posture.
"He wanted me to give it to a man outside of the forest."
"We should open it." Aislin said blankly.
Dalek stood defencively, "NO! If I deliver this package opened, my rep would be teribble!"
Flame quickly turned into a wolf behind Daleks back and bit into Daleks back poket, exposing a ripped package. Dalek jumped and ran next to Aislin who wore a sly smile, "Now you can say you ran into some trouble!"
Flame grinned and dropped in onto the ground. Syrus picked it up and opened it slightly and took out a golden key. "Hey this key doesn't even look finished!"
He was right. It had only two prongs and the body of the key was missing.
"Seems sorta usless, just part of a key." Dalek commented, "Hm, maybe the man on the other side of the forest has the other part."
"I'm more concerned with why the wolves wanted it so bad." Aislin pointed out. They all decided that they should go to the nearest town and get all cleaned up.

After the sun was completely behind the horzizon Kiara awoke to see acorns surrounding her on fire and the squirrels ready to eat here. "What the ***?, said Kiara calmly. Kiara stood up looking arround as the squirrels were running away. Kiara weakly walked as far as she could were she ended up by the lake to rest

We walk a long ways, eyeing each passing town to see if it is suitable for entering. I grimace as each town appears to be in alliegance with our enemies. Not to mention the sizeable bounty on our capture. Syrus shakes his head and sighs.

"That sick bastard. He doesn't want us brought in dead....looks like if we are captured...well things won't look good. Not saying that we will be of course!"

I laugh. "Well, guess we'll just have to make our way back to Clearwater. Hope Serena is expecting company, 'cause company's coming, ready or not!"

We walk a couple miles until we reach the waterfall. The rushing water creates a foam that makes it impossible for us to see the bottom. We start to make our way up the path, slipping occasionally because of the spray. About halfway up, we come to a slippery patch and Aislin tumbles off the edge. My split-second reactions aren't enough to catch her, and I expect to hear a splash and sickening thud.

"Hey! Try to catch me next time, okay?"

The beat of leathery wings and an almighty roar break the deafening rush of the falls by great numbers. We cover our ears in pain.

"Yo Aislin!" I yell. "Stop the roaring, okay?"

Aislin grins, her pointy teeth glinting in the sunlight and from the spray of the water. "C'mon, I'll fly us the rest of the way up."

We soar up over the falls and Aislin transforms back into a human and we head into Clearwater.

I will never forget the sight.

Houses burning, smoke and fire everywhere. The village is burning to the ground. And in the middle of it all? Raidus. I can see a new scar running along the left side of his face, from the top of his eyelid straight to the bottom, curving along to meet his lower lip. He grins at me, and chills go down my spine. Running straight at us, 20 wolves follow and we brace for battle.

I turn to Dalek and tell him to run, for he has no weapon. A sword blade makes contact with my spine, and I hear something crack. I slice through the wolf's shoulder blade and it howls in pain, but comes back. Looking around, I see that the others are having no trouble destroying these beasts. Why am I having so much trouble? Suddenly I hear a voice inside me.

"Compassion. You are pitying them. Let go. They murdered your family. Time to return the favor."

I don't know what is talking, but I decide to listen to it. I see the monsters as only mere targets. I still have some trouble, but I soon catch up to the others in their skill.

After slaying a bunch of wolves, Raidus grows irritable and attacks me directly.
"Damn you, you should be dead already! This was all a mistake, your whole life was a mistake!"
Rage fills me.

He responds to this by slicing through my dagger belt and throwing it into the smoke. I lunge after it, but he blocks my attempt and slices through my unprocted body again and again with his sword. Now I'm getting mad, and go full wolf on him, teeth and claws.

"Finally you're starting to fight seriously. This should be interesting."

Fire burns in my eyes as I throw myself forward...

...right onto the point of his sword.

The blade slices through my neck, blood pours out, and I fall to the ground, the sword twisting in his hands as he throws me off.

"Pitiful. That's what you are."

I stand wearily. Syrus and Aislin rush forward.
"Flame!"
I run at Raidus. I can't hear their cries to stop. I don't care. Suddenly an emergence takes place that I can hardly describe.

I fly at him, inches off the ground, and my front paws turn into talons. With these powerful claws I grab Raidus and hurl him into the air, then stab him in the back with my...

...beak. My muzzle turns into a beak! Razor sharp, I slice through him as we fly higher, towards the sun. I turn roughly in the air and drop Raidus, kicking him down, then I follow him to the earth. Dive-bombing, I keep pace with his plummeting form, kicking him faster towards the ground.

The shockwave we send as we touch down sends tremors throughout the land.

A dust cloud, no one can see what happens. Then a figure emerges, stumbling, and falling to earth.

Syrus, Aislin, and Dalek rush forward to see who emerged victorious.
The figure can hardly be seen. They can make out red and black colors...a tail...talons...a beak...

Then I morph back into a human, bleeding heavily from the throat, barely concious. The last thing I see before falling into darkness is three forms leaning down to take my beaten form into a heavenly embrace.

Kiara sat by the lake putting her feet in the kool, calm water. As the water ran across her feet she herd noises from the bushes. She sat there as an older gentlman walked out. He was acompaieyd (sp) to wolves. The old man walked over to me as I staired in the water and before he could say anything......

Kiara through her arm behind her as lightning struck the old man burning him to ashes. The wolves grould walking to me I strated stroking there ears as I stood up.
