I hate getting surgeries...I had one once...didn't like it. Just hope she's better behaved than I always was.

Once I had my teeth pulled...they had to put me under anesthesia (that how you spell it?) and I still bit the dentist in my unconsciousness. Mae was so embarrassed...

Awww good luck Alexandra! What a brave little girl Very Happy

Surgery is awful Sad But it's better than a whole life of misery and complications. It can be so scary, but doctors know what they're doing. You're safe with a surgeon.

Butterfli's right, you should listen to her. A lot.

But I sorta know how you feel, my grandma went through surgery (for diabetes, I think) and the surgery was unsuccessful. Not fatal or anything, but it didn't work. So she's getting surgery again. I went back to Maine for about three weeks to keep her amused, but the entire time she was either sleeping, eating or I was doing something on the computer and then she would ask me a whole bunch of questions, ("when was the last time you took a bath?" "Didn't you wanna fly planes?"...) so I never got anything done.

My mom had one of those...

You're right. It is major surgery. My mom made it through though, so I'm positive your sister will. Smile

And if I made it through surgery, 'cause I was probably younger, so she will be fine. Don't worry, though, she won't end up like me...

My mom had eye surgery when I was little. I had to help her get around the house.

Little kids are resilient. I'll pray for Alexandra and I hope everything goes okay!
