Sounds like fun no? _________________ I am sitting in my dingy little office, where a stingy

And the foetid air and gritty of the dusty, dirty, city,
Through the open window floating, spreads its foulness over all.

Ironically he never actually went outside of a city his entire life, let alone Droving. phht. Henry Lawson was much more acurate, he didnt romanticise the Aussie bush. |

I'm all out for ideas right now, plus I have my own deadlines to meet. Would love to, but I just cannot see myself gaining the time... _________________ It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.

How great would it be if someone from Figments won it (the Vogel one)... we could all, like, totally hit them up for money and stuff. Yeah!
Seriously, this would be a great opportunity for prospective writers, I imagine the competition would be pretty stiff but $25 isn't that much money to take a shot at it... and if you can't make it for this year (ie if you aren't confident enough to write 30,000-100,000 words in less than a month as a polished enough piece to be published... and I mean who wouldn't be that confident?!!) remember that you have a whole year until the next one. I'm definitely entering next year's, and I'll be working on mine throughout the year. If there's enough interest I might even start a thread inside the "works in progress" forum, Figments helping Figments win lots of money, that kind of thing Thanks for bringing this to our attention Aurora! _________________ "Why do you waste my time?" is the answer to the question on your mind -Sam's Town, The Killers |
