I am on a roller coaster...
And it flipped, and I wasn't screaming, I was yelling, "Wheee!!" I get off when it is over...

I am on a log flume. It changed since I last came. It starts going up the lift hill, only I suddenly realize I am just standing by watching, and I am jealous of the happy faces of the riders.

I think it means you're watching the people around you(or maybe just one) take risks that you would readily take, but something is stopping you. I can't tell you what, but you probably know.

I saw it. They were actually letting owners of VW buses see it early at some drive-in somewhere, but I couldn't go because A: it was too far away, B: I didn't know where it was and C: it doesn't actually go anywhere, the tires went flat years ago. So I guess my math teacher was right. He told me in eighth grade:

"So, a car selling for $15,000 at %15 off would--"
"What if we're going to buy a car off someones front lawn?"
"None of you are, I don't think."
"I found a car I like on someones front lawn. A hippie van."
"Those don't run anymore."

"So you might as well put it up on blocks and live in it."
