They're not bad, I guess. I know Penguin will appear and say "You have The Purple March" or whatever the hell it's called, but that's only because I found his new hair different and exciting.
If you remove their death-emo lyrics, then their music is good. But that's about it. _________________ And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming

I just want you to know who I am |

Contrary to penguin's belief, I am not emo just because I like MCR... they are pretty damn good (excluding all of the emo-ness like ArcT said...)
But yeah, not bad music really _________________ It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.

*eye roll* Just because they play about death alot, doesn't mean they're all emo. *shudder* I hate that word.

I do find it strange that the livelyest song on the black parade is called Dead!

I think what DN's trying to say is that 'Yeah if you take away the death/morbidness they'de be less emo. But they wouldn't be MCR anymore. They would just be another modern band singing about things which have been sung about too much to mean anything.
The thing I like is the fact that they're not afraid to confront the issues which affect everyone but which no one wants to talk about. _________________

Um I don't really like them either. It's not that they are bad but I really can't get into the feel of them. I'm a dancer and really fanatic about it so I can only listen to really up-tempo music that had a good beat and great to dance to, so my favourite types of music are dance music (obviously) techno-rave (yeh i know it's kinda geeky but I love it) and hip hop.
MCR are ok, but I don't like them good enough to buy a c.d or anything. _________________ Spider, Spider, on the wall.

I don't listen to music. But I do have a radio with the cassette workings torn out, and once or twice I've gotten it to work, but the only music I get is the Spyro music when I play my play station. Which isn't often, 'cause I can't play when it rains, 'cause I have to get the extension cable back in the shed, 'cause it can't get wet, so...yeah. _________________

Nah, MCR don't really do anything for me.
But their song 'Teenagers' Is worth listening to.
I just find the droany lyrics a load of *beep*, but the music on itself would be quite good tracks. _________________ Spider, Spider, on the wall.
