Who is your favourite character in a novel?

Are they a good guy? Or a villain?

Why are they so appealing to you?

My favorite character... that would have to be Kaz from the Shadowleague by Maggie Furey.
He is sly, cheeky, sarcastic and funny.
He is a good character though, and is probably the most interesting on in the series. Very Happy

Mine is... well, it changes on a regular basis. Currently, it's Ed from The Messenger. He's so... normal, but he's put in such extrodinary situations he even questions his own reality. I like that.

I have a lot of favorite characters:)
One character that I really like is Fiver from Watership Down. I like him because he doesn't give up easily and he cares for his brother, Hazel, and their warren.

i have a fair few...

Thursday Next from The Eyre Affair, Lost in a Good Book, and The Well of Lost Plots. (By Jasper Fforde)

She is very clever, and quirky, and the situations that she is presented would be very overwhelming for anyone. But she is funny, and always on top of things... even if it is a villain who canot be seen on film, and who can alter his appearance in peoples eyes...
Oh, and she owns a dodo...

I dont know, you'd have to read the books to see what i am really talking about! Wink

I also like Dragon and Cameo From The Obernewtyn Chronicles. Cameo is young, and disturbed, but not through her own means, she is sweet, but also intelligent. But she seems so innocent and frail, but when you see what she has to withstand you realise that she is not so frail afterall.
Dragon is a misfit girl who has been hiding out and living by herself for ages, and she appears savage, and is mysterious, while at the same time being naive and timid...

I also named my rats after these two...

There are so many characters that i cant help but to love...

More to come later...

The good guys:
-Crowley the Demon from Good Omens
-Aziraphale the Angel from the same book.
-Rincewind from the Discworld series
-Ender from Ender's Game
-Temeraire from the Temeraire series
-Lawrence from the same series
-Saphira from Eragon and Eldest
-Dr. Norman Johnson from Sphere
-Marek from Timeline
-Boba Fett from the Star Wars books
-Jonah Tailor from Meg
-Ultimate Spider-man (not too crazy about him as Peter Parker, though.)

-Sabriel from the Abhorsen Trilogy
-Lirael from the Abhorsen Trilogy

Villains:
-Voldemort from Harry Potter
-Tyler Durden from Fight Club

I had always liked Scar from the 'Lion King'...but I also thought that Mufasa wasn't dead, they were just hiding him somewhere. xD And for some unknown reason, that scene where it rains, I was always so sure that you were supposed to see pizzas. Because I saw them once, I'm so sure!

Now that I really think about it, it doesn't make any sense at all.

Long John Silver, from 'Treasure Island' (though he's the only part of the entire book I remember, save for Jim Hawkins. Very Happy)

And...Moonlight, from 'Just Key and Sometimes Cat'. Of course. xD

I have way to many, but to name one, Arya from A Song of Ice and Fire. She's amazing.

Sabriel and Lirael from the Abhorsen Trilogy, they're great.
Ron and the twins, from the HP books, they make me laugh!
Dumbledore too, he's always so calm and collected.
Moonlight, from 'Just Key and Sometimes Cat', How could I not?
Tyler Durden from Fight Club
Fiver from Watership Down.
Edward Scissorhands, he's jsut so mis-understood.
Pantalaimon, His dark mateirials.
Callum from The Noughts and Crosses trilogy.
Jonah from Meg
Jo from Little women.
