Ignorance is the Parent to Fear.

And it is so so true. Because humans fear what they do not know or understand. We fear insecurity, we fear creatures of the night and we fear those that we do not know at first... we fear our inner selves and we fear love... all because these are things that we do not understand.

Through the open window floating, spreads its foulness over all.

I understand krackens. I understand that they're big, and they want to eat me. And that is why they scare me. D:

Perhaps then, it is not the kracken that you fear but the effect that the kracken will have... You have never been eaten, therefore you cannot know what it will be like. Perhaps it is this and not the shell that embodies it that you fear?
