Ok, so quite simply, us writers are often putting our characters through living hell, and sometimes killing them in sadistic ways... Even when we are attached to them. Even when we love them.

So, have you ever cried over one of your own characters? And what were the circumstances that made you cry?

No... but for other peoples'.

But that's not what you're asking.

I probably will cry, though, when I finish my FigNo.

If I finish my FigNo.

Can't say I have. I think I'm just sadistic. I've killed a lot of characters in cruel ways, and sometimes I enjoy it... *cough*

I only had a couple tears, but that's because it was just a short story. But I made her lose everyone around her that she was attached to. If I ever fix the ending (it was a class assignment and was getting too long) I will be sure to put it up here. I liked the plot line of it all.

It was originally spelled "teers" I changed it.

I have cried over the thought of some character's dying... I am not looking forward to writing this character's death that is coming up, but it has to be done, and it helps SO MUCH with the story.

I'm not really a crying sort of person... so I can't say that I have ever cried over a character. But I have sometimes not liked what I was doing because it was too evil and the like... but then I remembered that I like being evil and so I was alright again Razz

But yeah, sometimes I can hear the character going: "Why pommie!? Why!?"

The problem with me is that I always say, "hm...okay, I'll kill off this character. *types up entire death scene* WAIT NO I LIKE THEM. But this is a good piece of writing, very suspensful...I'll just change the ending so that he lives, then I'll kill him off later in the story..." I do that about forty more times, so it ends up being a pretty sadistic story. XD
