Not so secret: I love you Slam Dunk!
Not sure if she thought I'd live up to my promise: I lurve you Shaye!!! *kisses*
Hug me, kiss me, you know you can't resist me!
I know, I know... Valentine's Day colours... but going to have to request that as a no-no as it confuses with mod edits... sorry _________________

I don't really care for Valentine's Day, it's a day to remind me that I've never had a date in my life. It's a day where people share their messages of love and I'm stuck with no one to love. Or if there is someone (which actually hasn't happened yet...) I'm too shy to tell them anything. So I found myself an alternative. Something to distract me and remind me that I'm just as fit as the last guy. A little something called Darwin's Day. Well...there WAS one guy...ONLY ONE. And I gave him an origami birdie on Valentine's day, junior year, actually it was a pair of birdies that were touching beaks and when you pulled their tails, their wings flapped...but he was a senior, graduated later that year, and I never saw him again. :/ That's not why I'm emotionally constipated, though. STOP SAYING THAT! *explodes* Although Mae likes to think I'm harboring some secret hope that one Valentine's day, he'll e-mail me or call Mae or something and then we'll meet again and he'll show me the little birdie...BLEH. As of now, I couldn't care less. AND I LIKE IT. _________________

Aww come on Valentine's is what you make it (like every other day)! If you wake up and go "I'm not going to have fun and I'm going to wallow in self pity" then sure it is going to be a bad day, but if you wake up and say "I'm going to make this the best Valentine's Day ever and I'm not going to be afraid to have fun!" The it will be good.
I've had some shocking experiences on Valentine's, this one time (at band camp ) I got this guy a card and he ripped it up in front of me. Yet here I am, having a good time and making the best of this beautiful day!
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!! _________________

Or you can just take my plan, wake up every day and say, "I'm going to do what I want and make this a good day." I don't need Valentine's Day to tell me to have fun, or to buy people chocolates, or to celebrate my love. I can do that any day of any week of any month of any year. _________________ Remember, a velociraptor can run at 10 m/s (indoors) and it knows no fear. |

Indeed, but other people do and it's just one big day where EVERYONE can celebrate their love, a happy day, or at least it's supposed to be but after talking to you prickly pears...
Nothing is going to rain on my parade, it's a beautiful day unless you're determined to make it not so. _________________

Well, mine was a bit off. I got a box of peanut butter cups in the mail from Mae, but they were old. That's not going to spoil my day, I said. So I ate them, and they were okay...then I ripped most of my fingernail off, I'll spare you the details but let's say it had something to do with a fishing lure and a dock...then I wanted to put a card in the mail for that guy, I spent all day yesterday looking for his name in a three hundred year old address book, but it turns out he died in a boating accident two years or so ago, and the girl he was living with was really ticked off that I even had the nerve to bring back such traumatic memories...and it's also...um...'that special time', so I've been a bit explosive. I laughed until I cried when my fingernail ripped off, I was so angry I was nearly tearing down buildings because I felt so bloaty, and then I cried until Sofa was all wet when I found out that there's no hope for me to ever 'have someone' in this life. :/ But I can't say I didn't see it coming, I /do/ have the Blow family curse... _________________

Ummmm. Okay. As to the original point of this topic...
I'M IN LOVE WITH HIRO! And who wouldn't be? Seriously: who can resist the ability to travel through and stop time? It's just way too cool! _________________ ~Michelle The Bee

Never had a crush on a celebrity/fictional character. No offense, Michelle, but I always set my sights on 'realistic' dudes. XD _________________

Not too thrilled with Valentines myself, but yeah... we've been through this.
Shaye just wrote a poem. It's called Valentine's Day:
Chocolates, flowers, and pink hearts,
Candy and card-filled Walmart carts,
Love is everywhere you could possibly go,
Kisses and hugs that lovers show.
Pretty places where lovers mingle,
And it's all just dreadful if you're single.
Heh.
And yes I have a love confession to make. I've fallen in love with an invisible stranger. A man of my dreams who is perfect in every way. He makes perfect fruit crepes and he wears yellow slippers in the winter. He's allergic to pepper and his favorite color is Macaroni and Cheese from the Crayola Crayon boxes. He has one blue eye and one green. His guilty pleasure is Godiva chocolate. He's absolutely in love with me in every way, and he doesn't, and never will, exist. _________________ ~Shaye

Awww. I was looking forward to finding all of his faults so that I could tell you he's not good enough for you. *pouts* That happens to be the best part of being the best friend. _________________ ~Michelle The Bee

Oh, I've done that, Shaye, you know, made up someone to be with. But it's okay when I do it, I have a disease that says it's normal. XD
Back in my day, we were in love with Humphrey Bogart and that guy who starred with Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind. XD I'm kidding...it /was/ Scarlett O'Hara, right, Grey Dawn? _________________
