Ok, I warn you, this article is VERY... Not good... Disgusting, in the sense that I can't believe he would do that... Nasty, heart wrenching, tear jerking stuff... Makes you doubt the goodness in people...

So... I post this link, and with the above warnings taken into mind, read on if you dare.

http://pawofjustice.org/index.php?cat=2

And tell me, honestly, what that guy says at the end... Do you think there is any hope in HELL that he could possibly feel that way, and still have done what he did...

And the worst thing is, he was given 3 years probation, in 04... Chances are he is doing the same thing again now, but in a sneakier way...

People like that should be banned from ever having an animal again...

That's just sick. I don't care if they're "just rats"--he ought to have been euthanized himself. A rat can feel the same way a dog or human can, just because they're small and considered pests they don't matter?

I KNOW! Humans can be so figgin' full of themselves that they don't realize other things can feel.

The thing that REALLY bugs me though, is that even after all that, this guy still thinks he could understand them, and that he cared for them...

BULL POO!

He must have been blinded by the stench. And the way he left out poison in case they escaped? What kind of person ensures that someone they love will die if they ever try to escape? But if I was crammed in a crate with 59 other rats that was only meant to hold 8...I'd probably go suicidal.

Me and Figs were already discussing this article a while back and it still makes me sad thinking about it.

I just don't understand the mind set of this man who claims he did nothing wrong and pled not-guilty to the end.

My Edgar is in a huge cage and I feel bad cause I still don't think it's big enough for him and I've put off getting his a friend until we can get him an even bigger cage.

It just sickens me to think that this man was shoving rats so tightly together they had trouble even breathing.

I just really hope he'll get his in the end, what goes around comes around or at least it should.

If that's the case, I must have killed someone in infancy or something. XD

But Mouse has a big cage too, it takes up a good part of the truck. See, I have it in the front where the drivers seat and such used to go, and it's nailed to the ceiling, and every once in a while I'll let him out. I have a fence I set up around the truck specifically for him. He's not a rat, he's a hamster, but...

And see, we all live in harmony. The dogs get along with the cat, and the cat gets along with the hamster. But they're all mean to me. XD
