Drowning. . . PEACEFUL???
Yeah, except for the burning part when your lungs are filling with water. I've hear being shot right in the back of the head is a little bit more peaceful. You die before you realize anything was happening. _________________ ~Michelle The Bee

Of mice and men was still a stupid book.
I'm going to re-write it so it's not as stupid someday. _________________ ~Shaye

Never read it. But Steinbeck is a really BORING author. I had to read the Pearl in school...I didn't even finish it; I just asked Sarah how it ended. And yeah, there have been a couple fishermen I've known who've been yanked over the side of their boats and they say "there comes a point where you just give up, and it's real peaceful, and it starts to get dark, I mean, you just ignore the water filling up in your lungs. And then ol' Steve came along and saved me. AIN'T THAT RIGHT STEVE?! LET'S GET A BEER FOR STEVE! *cheers*"
Maybe it's the beer that's made them oblivious to it all. XD _________________
