Hey guys, Theo is really sick... She is lying here gasping for breath... I am giving her coffee to open up her airways, and occasionally breathing into her mouth, CPR style, so that she gets enough oxygen...
Just keep here in your thoughts, prayers, hearts and all that if you could?
She is such a sweet little girl... She needs to be ok!
Thanks guys! _________________

I didn't know rats liked coffee. :/ I /do/ know that mice/rats/etc. can't eat cheese, because it speeds up their hearts. Or something... _________________

You do not need this right now; not so soon after Dragon.
I really hope Theo will be ok, for your sake too.
I had my first experience with rats the other day at a friends place, and they are really cute. I really liked them, and I know why you are really concerned for them when they get ill.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Theo, may he get well soon. _________________ It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.

I've got a funny story about rats.
So I went to my cousins house for the first time. And he's got rats. There's two; one nice, pretty white one, and this massive fat black one I think he picked out of the septic tank. o_O Anyway, so I take the white one out and play with her for a while, she crawled all over me, nibbled my ear, did rat stuff. Anyway. Then I went to pet the black one...AND HE LAUNCHES HIMSELF AT ME AND LATCHES ONTO MY HAND. AND THEN HE WOULDN'T LET GO. So I'm sitting there for about ten seconds, just staring at this enormous rat, until my cousin says "that hurts, doesn't it?" and I says "yeah. A lot; actually." and he goes "hm. What are you going to do?" and I says "well, I was thinking of something along the lines of AAAH! OH MY GOD, SOMEBODY GET ME A CHAINSAW!" I still have the scar. xD Rats love me. _________________

Yeah; that always works Grey Dawn. Screaming BE HEALTHY always works. You have to dance under the moon for it to work. PFFT. _________________

Hawkins, she doesn't like coffee, i was forcing it down her throat to open her airwaves! Some rats do like it, but not when it is being syringed into them...
They CAN eat cheese, but it just isn't good for them because of all the dairy... If you have a rat with breathing problems you won't feed it cheese, just as you wouldn't give it milk...
They CAN also eat chocolate, contrary to popular belief... The think that you can't give male rats is citrus...
Theo doesn't look good guys.

Hey guys... Theo passed at 2:50 am on the 10th of December(my time obviously).
She lay in my lap, too exhausted to go anywhere or do anything, and i looked down and she was gone...
So at least it was a peaceful death...
She was such a beautiful rat... She loved jumping and chewing... She kept pop corning around till the very end, she always snored when she slept, and she will be missed greatly. She was only about 8 months old.
I am working on my website of the ratties, so i will post the link when it is a little more up to date...
Love you Theo!

I'm sorry Figment.
I really hoped Theo would have gotten better again. I'm sorry, but I guess she went the best way in the end.

That's okay, Hawky.
You tried.
I'm sorry Figgy.
I remember when my pigeon died (I rescued her and kept her alive for 3 years), I cried for almost the entire weekend, and now when I see doves and pigeons, I think of my Pidgy (Clever. I know.).
She's always going to be there. Even though you can't see her or touch her feathers or hear her "coo coo" when you're going to sleep at night. You still remember how it sounded and how it felt.
I miss my Pidgy.
It's okay Figment!
