Gosh I haven't been on here in a long time but it's not entirely my fault, I swear it! My first word of advice no one ever EVER EVER get Hughesnet firstly because their internet sucks and secondly because they like to leave out important stuff you should know about your internet.

We got Hughsnet about a month and a half ago and at first it worked fine then all the sudden our internet would unexpectedly go down. We called and asked for help but no one NO ONE would listen to us. Finally we tried again and it turns out if we A. Downloaded a video, B. Downloaded music, C. Downloaded a game (demo), or D. Anything having to do with downloading our internet would shut down for an entire 24 hours due to something called a Thresh Hold.

Yes this should have been brought to our attention when we got the internet it would have saved us a lot of angered cursing at Hughesnet but finally after that month and a half we learned of the thresh hold and now the internet is sailing smoothly as long as we don't do A, B, C or D. What a wonderful internet company don't you think?

Hawkins was that you who camped outside the house and hacked into our internet? We had someone break through our security a few weeks ago and then the internet would do the 24 hour shut down thing so they must have downloaded things......if you say it's your fault for everyones absence. Wink

There's not really much of a story there.......we have that security enabled internet thing and someone kept stealing our cookies grrr. So we had to change all the passwords for our things because the cookies held our passwords in them and our cookies were then stolen. Obviously our security was a piece that's for sure. We haven't had any problems with it since we changed the password though so maybe the person *cough* Hawkins *cough* went away. Wink

See not too much drama eh?
