I love thunder storms!

I don't know if it is the dark atmosphere, and the sounds and flashes all around you...

Perhaps it is the fact that you have to unplug your computer... And that you feel so completely alone... You could be in some apocalyptic world where if you go outside, you will die... You could be the only person left on this planet... Or the storm could really be something that causes tares in the flesh of the world, and you are watching your world give way to another...

I don't know... Just some of the things that I think of when there is thunder and lightning around...

What do you guys get ideas of when there are storms about?

The reason this has come up is that i think a storm is on it's way here... i have heard some far off thunder, and the wind is just about to blow the trees over... I LOVE it!

Thunderstorms...

You could be on the open sea, with crashing waves and stuff.... Not that I actually think about the sea when there's a thunder storm...

I LOVE THUNDER!!!!!!!!!!!

thunder is so interesting, i don't really know how to describe it with words, but i love how it can be conveyed with music.

If anyone knows the start of 'I Turn to You' by Mel C, then you'll get what i mean.

I love thunderstorms, because it feels like the storm is inside you or something.

To me, it's like all this tension is being released in the form of thunder. It just makes you feel... clean. Refreshed. Whatever.

Yes. i love them.

My window tears out sometimes. One of them is a duct tape window because some moron broke it when I was out of state. 9_9

They're nice, kinda...cozy. I have to put all the animals inside, and shut the door, (which normally isn't closed, because then it gets really dark inside) and I turn the little battery-powered table lamp on, and all the animals and I sit on the sofa and listen to the storm. And if it's cold out, we sit under a blanket.

Very Happy See?! I'm not TOTALLY heartless.

You described them perfectly. I live in a desert area so we don't get a lot of rain. Heh. Ironic.

Yea, thunderstorms don't help me write, but composing that's a different story. Part of my first song (I deny the existence of songs before that THEY WERE NEVER WRITTEN! SHUT UP!) was about a thunderstorm. I should see if I can play it now...

I don't write music; I just write down a bunch of notes, title it something to do with bears in the forest and call it good. ^^ Generally they make no sense. Maybe I should get some piano accompanyment(sp?), or I could play it on a baritone sax, or get an entire orchestra to play it. Very Happy Though I'd need to extend it longer than twelve notes...:/

Haha.
I can totally see Hawkins conducting his masterpiece in a large theater, hundreds of people listening in awe.
You know you can see it.
Hear it.
Maybe
even taste it.

oooo....

If I can't play it, I should post my older recording (it kinda sucks because we did a lot of cutting and pasting, cause I couldn't play it, but I needed to record it as it was my English project [which my teacher loved]).

I tried my hand at drawing kitties once for an english assignment; many years ago. I was so crappy at drawing, she even admitted it was nearly the worst attempt at a kitty she ever saw. The boxes, however, where top notch. I draw good boxes. ^^

Naw; I can't do nothing in a thunder storm. Duke likes to take up all the room. o_O

And Hawkins is a dudette. So he can't perform in a theater; she would have to. ^^ I must be tired; that almost made sense. xD
