I love thunderstorms. I can also never spell storm right on the first try.

They're so ... wild, uncontrolled, free, refreshing.

And I'm from New Mexico, so my instinct is backwards. Hear thunder, go outside and try to get wet.

For me, if there is a thunderstorm, I go onto the deck so I can watch the lightning. There is nothing quite the same as an Australian thunderstorm. It is not black with occasional lightning. It is lightning with occasional dark. Truly beautiful they are.

You guys would /really/ hate Vermont; then. We ('we' being 'me') are afraid of lightning because of the lake and the lake getting hit by lightning and what would happen to people in the lake at time of zap...

Ooh, we get thunderstorms every now and then in Washington! Very Happy

I love standing outside in my backyard and watching the lightening, and the thunder shakes the house when I'm inside, so it's awesome, so during thunderstorms I'm usually running back and forth in and out of the house, lol.
