(*punches* BAD! SHORT POST!)

"Oh yeah; it'll be loads of fun." I snapped sarcastically, suddenly annoyed that this was his fault in the first place. I blinked and thought for a moment. Maybe it was my fault, I thought. Growling, I slammed the door shut behind me. Right now, I was in no mood to be wrong.

(Travis is like that /all/ the time. he's always right. xD I think it's a dude thing...)

(But I'm never like that... but then again I'm not usually fancily dressed... Isn't it funny how dude means a fancily dressed man, but almost no one who uses that word or who that word refers to is fancily dressed...)

I picked up my phone and dialled a number, then I exited through the back and ran to the front. When Hawkins reached the front door I was standing there with a cab, laughing.

(Now there's a dude. Very Happy)

(a freakishly annoying one.)

I cocked an eyebrow. "How you manage that is beyond me," I muttered, trying not to encourage him.

(how about wise guy and wise man? I=wise guy. Pommie=wise man. xD)

(Quite)

"I called a cab and seeing as I'm not limping I'm can make it down the stairs much faster." I held open the door, "Besides, I did cut your leg."

(I=paranoid man? Very Happy)

(I actually do have paranoia; and lemme tell you...living alone isn't the way to go when you're paranoid. to remedy this--hide a shotgun under your sofa. ^^)

I rolled my eyes and climbed into the cab. "I got you to a hospital; and then you cut me. What kind of person are you?" I said, leaning out the window.

(I make a valid point, FYI. xD)

(I used to be paranoid, band destroyed that. Paranoia about disease + thirst + 5 cups + 60 bandies = either my death or the death of my paranoia.)

I leaned close, my voice growled with a hidden anger "One that shouldn't be messed with." I held up her gun. Suddenly my tone changed to a more friendly one, "However I always pay back my friends." I nodded to the driver and he drove her off. I relaxed. I had a man on her, she wouldn't be able to reveal the truth about her leg without me knowing.

(What? You thought I was being /nice/? No, I'm just paranoid. Drinks and assassination attempts don't go well together, add paperwork to that and you got a nutjob. Very Happy)

(yay; we're both nutjobs. ^^ they're always nice to have aroun--I SMELL FOOD. *gopher look*)

"What did you do to yourself?" The nurse had asked as she cleaned up dried blood. "I was at--" I noticed a heavyset looking man peering in the window. So Grey Dawn /wasn't/ that nice. I should have figured. "Slipped and fell." I had said. "This looks like a knife wound." She said, pressing for information. "I fell on a knife. Look; it's not your business to know what a klutz I am. Just clean it up and let me go." I snapped; afraid that this nurse could also be a friend of Grey Dawn. I shook my head as she wound gauze around my leg. I'm getting paranoid, I thought.

(ACK, Tyler's back; and he brought his girlfriend with him. HER NAME IS KRISTY, I REMEMBER NOW. she says you sound interesting. Rolling Eyes)

(Damn, you're good. Also I think interesting is a fairly accurate description for me.)

I sat in my room waiting for the phone to ring. Finally a little burst of sound announced that my friend had the information. I picked up, listened, and hung up. She hadn't told anyone, not even after my plant pried her. Maybe she wasn't so bad after all.

(I love how I'm starting to become the bad guy. Very Happy)

(only because I made you the bad guy. I could have blown your head off if I had wanted to. Twisted Evil)

I walked across the road, and noticed Dragon peering into a window. Curious; I strode up to her side, but it was only a window display of guns. I sighed and wandered off.

(I should get a beretta. xD)

(I like have a gun with punch. I'm a one-shot-and-done kind of guy. Very Happy Suddenly I'm not in conversation, I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!... ... ... I'm scared.)

After a nice sleep, and a few hours of intense headaches, and quite a few of cups of coffee, I sat down at my desk to try and figure things out.

(So what do I do? PAPERWORK! XD).

(Ty says I ought to write, "with no regard to time line, I'm not just going to shoot you like a gentleman. I'm going to DROP ATOM BOMBS!" he's nearly the weirdest guy ever. next to you; obviously...Rolling Eyes)

I had the feeling I was being watched; as if someone was just staring over my shoulder. I tried to shake it off, that Grey Dawn was just scaring me. But I sped up nonetheless.

(There is actually someone staring over my shoulder...:/...it's Ty...xD)

(<.< >.> Good, she hasn't noticed my cameras. Very Happy)

I started writing down what I knew. Jimmy told me that a woman bought a gun from his store. Dragon told me the same thing. But something was missing... Something Dragon told me. He told me about two people! I was back on track to finding my hunter.

(See! When I'm not drunk, I'm smart!)

I opend the door to my house, went over to the fridge and pour my self a glass a whiskey. God, it burned like a wildfire down my throat but it soothed my nerves. With a sigh of relief I sat down and flicked on the holo-vid, thats when I heard a wooshing noise I turned around thats when I saw the....golden hair dame I shot up eailer, "what the?"I said suddenly eveything started darking up, then I noticed the dart protuding from my neck.....

(Wait. You're male?! I see you every day and I didn't know /that/! Very Happy)

I realized then that Jimmy was in on this somehow. Grabbing my .44 I left my apartment. I hailed a cab and zoomed off to Jimmy's Ammo Depot. I felt in my coat to make sure I was ready to do some breaking and entering. My nerves felt like a thousand ants were walking over them. I really hate the moments before a job.

(And please don't resurrect the dead, that always pisses me off. Sorry, but it's a pet peeve. I guess I technically can't stop you though...)

(oh, but that's fun. *evil laugh* Tyler's been reading this; he says that there's no doubt in his mind that Grey Dawn is the supreme bad guy of this story. *rofl*)

"Now what do I do?" I muttered; kicking a leaf down the sidewalk. "Nyah, nyah, nyah. Next thing you know, Grey Dawn'll have bulldozers flattening people in his way." I stopped in front of the window of Jimmy's Ammo Depot. "Hm," I considered. "I have wanted to replace my .44; the trigger's starting to stick. I would /love/ a sub-automatic..."

(yes, please do remind me again how destructive I am. xD)
