I was actually carving arrows for my bow (I made one from birch and horsehair, just needed some arrows) and was cutting the notch on the end, when my knife slipped and quite literally sliced my hand open. The skin was peeling back and everything...so I wrapped it up in gauze and bathed in peroxide. The end. Very Happy

I cut myself with an exacto knife during physics while we were making catapults. There was a lot of blood coming from that wound. I went to the bathroom created a cheap band-aid and continued working, then I was sent to the nurses where she put on a more intense band-aid and I had to hold my hand really high for a long time, and that is why I don't really care for going to the nurse unless I have to, they do what's supposed to be done, not what's fun to do.

My friend Paige had to hold her hand up when we were in Mexico, cause she smashed her finger (shattering the bone at the tip) with a hammer. Of course, they didn't realize how bad it was till we got back to the states, and then they're like, "You're finger's shattered." It kinda sucked for her.

And I'm making another wand!!! I've discovered that apricot wood, while it has a nice smell, is a bit harder to carve than my first one. Sad

But it's ok. Very Happy

My friends from Texas do that whenever they come camp in the mountains, which is like every summer. It's really cool, cause they carve designs and char them and stuff. I wish I knew how they do it. Sad
