This movie was sooooo good!!!!!!!! I went and see it with my aunt and cousins tonight and I was hooked. It was about two and half hours, and it didn't even seem that long, it was soooo sad though towards the end but there was a ton of funny parts, or maybe that was because of sleep deprivation. I thought the new actors were really good, the new Luna was awesome! The graphics were freaking cool!! When they're in the Department of Mysteries and the death eaters are like flying in and out it looks crazy good! So far it's one of the best movies I've seen all year, and I want to see it again! LOL

This was very good.
Luna was awesome, yes.
Easily the best, but a couple of things:
They needed to have something about Ron, Hemione etc. not being able to see the Threstrals when they were flying to London, and Umbridge needed to 'hem-hem' more. She only did it once!
But other than that, exquisite.

I saw a picture of the flying dead horse things, they were so CUTE...

Hoorah, I'm Hagrid. (which arises the question...who did he see die for him to be able to see the horsies?) I find walrus', snakes, raptors and rats adorable. Well, Figment thinks rats are cute too, and I don't disagree with her! What's not to like? They're soft, they're cuddly, they have cute little tails, AND THEN THEY BITE YOU AND YOU HAVE TO BEAT THEM AGAINST THE WALLS OF THEIR OWN CAGE TO MAKE THEM LET GO! DIE, FAT BLACK RAT, DIE!

My cousin raised rats and told me to stick my hand in the cage. He hoped it would scar me forever. It was only for a few months. Pfft.

His father, that's who. Very Happy

And the flying horse things are Thestrals (not Threstrals contrary to my prior post Shocked )

Things that were amazing: Dumbledore vs. Voldemort fight, the casting of Bella (OMG!!! and when he said "Crucio" and she screamed and fell over and stopped laughing, taunting with her baby voice, her looks, my god she was PERFECT!!! *adores Helena Bonham Carter* and I don't normally like the casting for these movies!!) Luna, Tonks, and Umbridge (well, Umbridge was as good as any HUMAN person could be as her, but I imagine her worse). I also loved how some of the conversations were taken STRAIGHT from the book unchanged! Like when Luna tells Harry about her mum, even if it's in the wrong place. McGonagall is of course very good. I liked the first Dumbledore (Richard Harris) but this one is starting to grow on me. Even though it was different from the book, I liked the Voldemort possession of Harry part too.

Didn't like: Cho. Not much Harry/Cho interaction (read: ZERO) except for the kiss, she isn't that great of an actress in my opinion, and they should have had Marietta give the DA away like in the book. Oh well. And Kreacher. He was good, but we saw him for a second. I would also have liked to have seen some more that happened at Grimmauld Place. And Mrs. Black! I wish they'd left in the part where Umbridge and co attacked Hagrid and poor McGonagall. And the Departement of Mysteries section was way cooler in the book. Sirius's death wasn't done well in my opinion. It was too unexpected. In the book it's unexpected, but it works some how, and it sinks in and when Dumbledore and Harry talk it helps.

I thought it was great!!!! Of course, I'm a die hard book fan so I noticed a lot of little inconsitancies, but it was great!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy

Haven't seen it yet.

HAHA, but when I was up in Ellseworth(sp?) (long story...too bored...) and the theater said "TRANS" (too lazy to put up TRANSFORMERS?...) and then under it HARRY POTTER. So it said TRANS HARRY POTTER. xD There was only one rating too, so it looked like one movie. xD xD xD

I think it was good, but they missed some bits out of the book... i think they needed to explain more about Kreacher.... and Umbridge should have been uglier, I think...

But on the whole, it was great!!!

I was trying to explain it to Jordan, he was like, "Trans Harry Potter? What?" and then finally I was like, "do you know what a transsexual is?" and he goes "...Shocked Oh."
