Ok, so i want you to write a poem... about a book, or movie, or tv show...
Bonus point if you to tell us what it is about, without using any of the character's names, or anything like that...
For example, if you were going to do Harry Potter, Don't use their names, but you can refer to their characters... You could refer to Hermione by her brains, and perhaps her bushy hair... Get what i'm saying?
And of course, if you were to take that extra challenge, you wouldn't be able to refer to Hogwarts, Hogsmead, or anything like that... But you could refer to the cupboard... and the smallest bedroom...
Basically the less indirect information that you give, with the poem still making sense... the more bonus points you will get!
You can PM them to me, or email them to figment_queen@yahoo.com.au
This competition will finish on the 28th of July, at 11:59:59 as the forum dictates!
Good luck guys!
And have fun!
Figgy! _________________

YAY! cuz I wrote one for it but I'm not sure I like it lol so I didn't want to submit it if I didn't get another chance, but I'm also afraid I'll forget to submit the one of ones I write for it if I don't do it right away lol so this works out well . Now I can just send them as I finish them. _________________ ...:::Life is a balance of holding on and letting go:::...

Yay! Yes you can...
And in response to your question in the PM, can everyone please tell us what book/movie/tv show it is about... AFTER the poem... So that we can read it and see how it reads and if we know it, and then we can see for sure how well you went with the poem and it's cryptic-ness... _________________

Do you base your choice of winner on the cryptic - ness, or the poetic... - ness? and another question... *pleads begs and offers cave-man* can the prize be a custom name????? _________________ I am sitting in my dingy little office, where a stingy

Alright, alright, I'll enter. Gee whiz.
*to everyone else*
Umm... hi?
I realized I have an important question: Do any and/or all of these count as names: Ol' Blue Eyes, The Chairman of the Board, The Voice? _________________ Remember, a velociraptor can run at 10 m/s (indoors) and it knows no fear. |
